 did you do maths at school?

388 minutes divide by 90mins = 4.3 games.

Hes scored 2. So 4.3 divide by 2 = 2.15.

Meaning he scores one every 2.15 games.

Excellent

I like that when it comes to the prem, the stats aren't as good, so we rely on starts rather than the fact that he's featured in 7 games & only scored 2.

Me too as I dont have the stats for the other games. Feel free to give them to me because if you have a bit of intelligence you would know that his stats would improve not become worse as I have charged him 90 mins every appearance, which im sure he doesnt need to account for.

So its not 1 in 2 then, its technically 1 in 3.

Its 1 in every 2 games and 14 minutes. Which would net him around 17-18 premier league games if he played every game.

Again, excellent.

No, its 1 in every 2 games and 14 minutes.

If it was 1 in 3 then after 30 games he would have 10... when in reality he would have 14.

Big descrpancy

Exactly. He's got to go into the third game to score a goal, according to these stats... Meaning it certainly isn't 1 in 2.

2 goals in 7 prem appearances.

Re: Wilfred bony

Cornelius' premier league record on the other hand is insanely worse

If you want to compare to him that's fine.

Although he's done as well as Campbell.. 2 goals.. Who cost 600k.

 but you are not seeing the fact he would also score in the 5th game which you would completely ignore of you took the incorrect 1 in 3 (and the 10th, 15th, 20th so on and so on)

Re: Wilfred bony

Fri Oct 25, 2013 9:29 am

If he keeps getting 2 in 7 games he will finish on 10 goals.

Average

No he hasnt. Campbell doesnt have an assist does he? Or cup goals? Or european goals? And has played far longer?

Would that be correct?

2 goals in the premiership so far this season. Although the very fact that you're going to assists to try and make Bony sound better, says it all.

Is that why you paid 12.5million more for? That one extra assist?

I dont need to make him sound better, the stats say he is.

He has a better strike rate and more assists. Simple as that.

We didnt pay £12m for 388 minutes no  if it carries on like this he will have about 16 assists more than Campbell and 10 goals more.

WRONG - both have two premiership goals to their name this season.

Both with the same number of goals.

And quite right too. Cant imagine Campbell ever being able to score 1 every 2 games and 14 minutes after a fifth if the season

2 in 7 appearances & Campbell 2 in 8 appearances..

26 times more expensive..

2 goals and 1 assist in 388 mins which equates to..... 18 goals and 9 assists per season.
2 goals and 0 assists in 604 mins which equates to .....11 goals a 0 assists per season.

And thats just the premier league

Well worth it :thumbright:

He is your main man though isnt he? I reckon he would need to contribute more in order to survive. Dont see many goalscorers anywhere else in your side.

Re: Wilfred bony

Fri Oct 25, 2013 10:12 am

who was your top scorer in the prem first season? Graham i imagine? how many league goals?

We have odemwingie (1 in 4 so far?) can see, giving his scoring record, him chipping in with a decent 9 or 10 too

You mean just one less than your "main man" Graham scored in your first prem season? (12) :laughing6:

He cost you considerably more too, didn't he?

Yes I do, yes he did and hes rubbish cant believe we made a profit on him.

It was a good job we had Gylfi , Dyer and Sinclair to chip in too... And the fact we were rather good and only conceded 51 goals... You are on course to conceed over 60  :laughing6:

Paul Gascoigne as much chance of giving up the booze than Bony has of playing every minute of every game theyve got left this season.

Not fit enough. Big lazy carthorse.
