Plans were drawn up last season and thats what waddle put up, but it alls says for this season.
Now the plans are to be submitted by xmas so a start date can be confirmed and work will start end of season.

So it's not confirmed then & therefore cannot be called a FACT.

Barry Chuckle wrote:I fully expect you to expand, but not next season.
I therefore questioned Roath Magic's use of the word FACT when talking about a stadium expansion. This is because it cannot be called a fact as there is no confirmation of any work to be completed, no plans shown, no start date confirmed.
It's all PLANS at the moment.
It can only be called a fact when a start date & completion date are confirmed.
Although I did find it amusing that the only evidence brought forward was an article that said you would have 22.5k this season... Therefore blowing your own debate out of the water.

This thread was ridiculously boring. I dont mind a debate, even a biased debate can have its merits however this nitpicking is just mind numbing.
Im sure ill be banned shortly anyway.

The last promoted side that were commented on for their atmosphere was Stoke. That's a few years ago now.
As for the 15k more, why not? If we stay up its totally realistic. I feel that we will stay up and get 35k next season.

There were large parts it was quiet but they were under immense pressure from Liverpool between Liverpools equaliser and Swanseas equaliser. This is something they are not used to last few years being played off the park on their own place and I think the crowd got nervous.
This is all new to us and it was rocking against City, not as good against Everton but still louder than its been the last 4 seasons, where lets be honest the atmosphere has been poor at the CCS.
We are playing the 12th man at the moment but perhaps when we get established in the PL the atmosphere comes down a notch or two, who knows. It certainly did in the championship the more seasons we spent there.
Stoke have gained many plaudits but having been a mid table side now for some years their atmosphere is not what it was against the majority of PL teams, it gets stepped up for the big guns as you would imagine at most PL grounds.

Yep. I agree. There is no point in point-scoring but that's exactly what the majority of threads on here and Planet Swans are about whenever Swans/Cardiff are mentioned.
Regarding last night, I was impressed with Liverpool for the first half hour and you're right, I think it was a bit of a shock to the system given that it's usually Swansea doing that to the opposition.
Once we got going, the Liverpool fans reacted the same way as became more nervous. It was an onslaught for the last half hour though and the home crowd reacted accordingly.
As has been said on here, once you become more established in this league and it becomes more 'the norm', the crowd get used to it. The atmosphere is still very good at Swans games but it's not as it was in our first season. The same will happen at Cardiff, as it has to Stoke. I went to Stoke last year and they were loud when they bothered to sing but they sang Delilah twice and that was it. Same with Liverpool at Anfield the year before. They sang YNWA as they came onto the field and then we didn't hear a peep out of them. I've went to Norwich last season and the season before and they have good fans. Again, newly promoted and up for it.

So because you said so cardiff fans will hardly sing in the upcoming seasons, ok then.

I take it you're not one of the brightest posters on this forum?
I didn't say we hardly sing at the Liberty. I said the atmosphere is very good. It's just not as good as it was in the first season.
After a few seasons, your fans won't be as loud as they were in the first season. Of course, you'll be louder against Man United, Chelsea etc than you would be, say, against the likes of Fulham. For clubs like ours, the first season in the Premier League is like no other. It's just the way it is.
