Ok I understand we don't like the Swans, But there are 2 reasons why I want them to stay up.

First is, cos there a Welsh team, and I want all Welsh teams to do well, its good for our country and good on the world stage of football.
Second reason is ,we can all look forward to playing them twice a season and lets be fair ,that is a brilliant day for fans players and the club in general.

I bet nearly every one on this board was looking for the dates we play the swans when the fixtures come out, Why ? cos we all love to play them.

Its the highlight of the season,if you cant see that ,then there has to be something wrong with you.

I'm not talking about Player , I'm talking about Wales as a Whole, people who maybe never heard of Wales will now check out things about Wales online and maybe decided to Come or include Wales next time there in the uk.

It don't take a fking brain to work that out ,the more that people over seas hear about Wales the better for Wales.

Are you really that stupid to not see how two welsh teams in the premier league is good for welsh football? Two wealthy clubs able to spend monej on developing welsh talent like ben davies is clearly the answer you are looking for. Not forgetting we have potentially 3 of the welsh back four. Also it helps to raise the profile of the sport in wales above that of egg chasing. But you clearly already understood all that as nobody is that stupid.

Look at all the nationalists crawling our of the woodwork. I can see how it's good for Wales but it's not good for Welsh football as a whole, look at the players both clubs have signed in the past three seasons, how many welsh man? How many English born players are in the Welsh football team?

If your such the big welshman then why don't you support a welsh league side rather than an English league side? We are both Eanglish league sides based in Wales, nobody can be that thick to ignore that.

Do City want United to win the league because it's good for Mancunian football? Ffs.

We have gone from the first team training in a public health club to having a state of the art training centre for exclusive use of our age groups. How is that bad for welsh football? How is it bad for young ben davies to play premier league football at the start of his career. You eouldnt have had to sell the likes of ramsey or gabbidon so early. The benefits are massive if not always obvious.

That's fantastic for Swansea, it really is and there's no bitterness from my end. However premier league football brings in more foreign players, the welsh lads can't hack it. I'd wager more spaniards have played for Swansea in the premier league than Welsh born players, Ash Williams doesn't count as passionate and a great captain as he is, he was not born here.

I did not say it was bad for Welsh football but it certainly isn't good! It's good for Wales though, overseas google searches of "Reading", "Swansea", "Norwich" and "Burnley" shot up after they reached premier league. I'll be a bit of sad tw*t and go through the Welsh side to play Ireland this Wednesday and look where they were born, I bet more are born outside of Wales!

Good to have a proper debate with a Jack without it resorting to open warfare.

I have no idea why this Pratt "Bluebird since 1948, even supports a Welsh club ,he is totally against Wales & anything Welsh or anything to do with Wales.

Its been pointed out to him ,that having as many Welsh clubs as possible in the prem ,is good for Wales , as it brings Wales to the attention of people over seas who may watch the games. But he just ignores what is posted on that matter and just goes babbling on , From now on its best to ignore the Welsh hater .

It appears patritotism doesn't go as far as supporting a team that plays in the WELSH RAN league! I am proud to be Welsh and proud to be British. Not against Wales. Cardiff/Swansea is excellent for Wales as I wrote in my reply to JackF. Google searches and global recognition will hit the roof. However it is not good for Welsh football.

Now why do you support an English league team? The premiership is the English league is it not? As you believe Wales should be a country on it's own do you think exiled welsh clubs should play in Wales? Or are you a hypocrite?
