I support Cardiff City. I never thought our opening day in the premier league, a day I've dreamed of, would be spent doing so in Bristol City colours, with a totally divided fanbase and with a knock off badge on our chests that looks like a dragon has shat out a bluebird.

I'll be honouring the premiership by walking to the ground and being proud of our identity.

Unlike others, I'm not ashamed to be pro blue. I want to support and engage with Tan, but he does not engage with anyone-therefore people have no choice but to show him how proud we are of our club.

I always had mixed views on Bluebirds Unite, but in recent weeks, reading some of the horrible, ludicrous and downright lies on here, I am increasingly fully behind them.

We need to be proud of who we are, not ashamed.

Don't lie you've always been behind bu.

Its not a celebratory walk it's a PROTEST MARCH pure and simple and you know it.You've done nothing but slag fans of who are getting behind tans vision since you came on this Mb.
Bu are doomed to failure because of their bullying and the abuse they give vt and other fans.

Mate I'm going on the walk but not as protest, I'm going to keep our identity alive, I'm not willing to let it slip away
. Maybe I'm old fashioned but after years and years of playing in blue and being recognised as The Bluebirds it's who Cardiff City are for me, I can't see how anybody can look out on to the pitch down the CCS and think that looks like Cardiff City because it just simply don't. As for bullying and abuse to Tan and other fans on a personal note that's bullshit because never have I abused anyone, I may not agree with them but I certainly haven't abused anyone.

Very good question?

Any game apart from this one ! This is meant to be our big moment , the game we've been waiting for a home game in the premier league against one of the best teams in the world . This day should be about realising the dream everybody has had for years and celebrating together the teams achievements not marching against a rebrand .

And this was not a thread against bluebirds unite it was a thread about the march on that day . I think they only chose it because it will gain massive exposure but it will have the opposite effect , tan will be pissed off , sky will concentrate on that more than our amazing achievement of getting to the premier league and once again if there's only a few hundred we will be a laughing stock amongst other fans .

I think that's exactly why it was chosen - 1st home game of the season. Cardiff City supporters are already percieved as a laughing stock by others because we did not stand up to the rebrand last season. Now a movement to keep the Blue alive is happening, fans are still a laughing stock? Whether it has an effect will not be known until its be done. You can't knock some for trying.

You mentioned you wanted the blue back, how would you go about it?

It's your football club and you're entitled to march to keep alive it's roots and culture. Putting all the online bickering aside for a moment, Tan won't walk, it's not against Tan so all you reluctant reds that want the blue come and show the world who bluebirds really are and what we are about as football fans. If for nothing else but your own consience so you can actually say you did SOMETHING to keep the local culture alive.

Unfecking believeable and really sad to see this board reduced to this, but I suppose it's better than the tread asking if "Roath Tragic" should be allowed back if he only posts under the "Roathie" username.

I thought Bluebirds Unite was going to be an organisation that would be able to push for a return to our traditional colours but I realised that was not going to happen when I read the "Official Statement" on thier facebook page. The individual who wrote it thinks enough about themselves to say he "Doesn't want to debate" the issue which means follow me blindly in whatever I do and never question me. At that point I lost any interest in the group.

I suppose anyone if you intend going on this "March" you are happy with the message of "We Will Be Showing Who Cardiff City Bluebirds Are". I'd really like to know who the feck Cardiff City Bluebirds are as the "Identity" of the club I have supported is "Cardiff City Football Club". But hey ho this is BU and no debate is allowed so if the leaders want to "Rebrand" the primary identity of our club so be it because remember "There is no debate" with this lot.

Of more concern to me is that BU say "It Is Important We Turn Up And Set The Scene For The Season" . What the feck does that mean and exactly what scene are they intent on setting next season. :?

I'll be avoiding this group like they have the plague and the scene I will be setting next season is one where I'll be supporting MM and the team 100%.

Anyone want to join me in doing the same.

Aggre with you on this one, guys

As well meaning as the original group are, the BU march will take away focus from what is otherwise an historic event for Cardiff City Football Club

If you want to make a visible and obvious statement, just continue to wear blue

That will speak much louder than a march that Vinent Tan will probably not even be aware of and will certainly take no notice of when all is said and done :(
