Yes, that's stupid. Nothing to do with the rebrand.. Again, these aren't the views of BU as a group though.

Just another case of stronger moderation required.

Chuckles,I accept these are not the official views of BU,but it does appear to be the views of a fair proportion of their followers/members and that is what is coming out into the public domain. These comments will not do their group as a whole any good,if they have any sense they will have a word in this weeks meeting about moderating some of their extreme views or the majority will turn against the group.

As I said, I've already told them that their comments need to be reigned in, for the sake of the group.

Well, maybe they declined as you have been against the group/their views from the start & don't share their views. The chap who runs it is totally part of the group.

Re: Branson in a pickle?

Tue Jul 23, 2013 12:35 pm

Rob, I've been involved more on an informal basis, I'm not on the committee or anything, but have attended a meeting or two.

Just posted this onto their group & forum:

There are many on the BU facebook page/other social media who are posting their views against Tan/Asian backing...

To me, this is doing the group no favours & is alienating the people we are trying to get on board, the reluctant reds. Whilst you may have personal feelings regarding Tan, these are not the views of BU as an entity & when they appear on the BU pages, it looks like they are also the views of the group.

To be fair to the moderating team, they are voluenteers and cannot be online 24/7 deleting anyone who says things like Tan Out, so I suggest/appeal to people that everyone moderates themselves when it comes to making comments & remember that any comments that could alienate anyone who is looking into joining, is a backwards step for the group.

If they're going to let their emotions interfere with their business in terms of a professional capacity then that's a fault of theirs, not mine. I don't agree with the way bankers go about things either but if Barclays offered me money or the opportunity to work on their website then I would set my emotional/personal views to one side and approach the task in hand professionally.

Apologies Baked, I had read on here that she had.

As for Chuckles it didn't take him long to keep me off ignore! If I was a troll i'd be banned long ago by Baked himself, who is a moderator, you are not. My agenda is to get the blue back, your agenda seems to rubbish those who have different opinions to you and then label them "trolls", a spurious claim to say the least.

Where do they get off on calling match going Bluebirds plastics when the leader of the group is coming out with whopper like that. Won't attend games in championship but will try and be in the ground for as many games as they can in the premier league? Sounds like plastic to me.

Fair play lambo, I've read some shit on here but that is definately top 3. I've been all over too, and trust me when we were 4th division people gave our club no respect whatsoever regardless of our shirt colour. Oh and your brick is still true, after all we are the Bluebirds, Cardiff City Football Club. Unless something has happened to change that.

It's ridiculous posts like this that are alienating BU and stopping people even taking the group seriously.
I'm currently in Majorca and have spoken to a lot of fans of different clubs. Not one has said anything negative or sniggered at us as some would have us believe.

some have commented and we've been in agreement that we miss the old days and they miss coming to ninian park etc but they, like me realise that football has changed beyond recognition from those days and as much as we may miss it its gone.
Every fan I have spoken to realises that the rebrand was beyond our control and it's just a part of football becoming massive business
