I never said he weren't? I just don't rate him highly as all the media do. A good centre back but nothing special to the likes of Vertonghen.

You're the obsessed one on a rival forum remember?

But I don't need to watch every player to know they make mistakes, to think otherwise is totally deluded. Here's a quote from someone, I wonder if you can guess who said it:

"I've made mistakes before and it won't be my last. I have to get on with it.

"Personally you feel you've let the team down, but you don't do anyone any good by not getting on with things.

"You've got to pick your head up and get on with it. I've made enough mistakes, everyone knows I've made mistakes. It hurts, but you get your head up."

As he said, he can't name the exact games because why would he be able to remember the exact games of a team he doesn't support.

Like me, he just remembers the mistakes but not the specifics. Other than Titus Bramble i honestly can't name another defender who i know to be more error prone. :ayatollah:

So no proof then. while the people who watch him week in week out are telling you he rarely makes a mistake while Arsenal want him as their top target to lead them into the Champions League campaign while captaining club and country.

What a mature reply. I provide evidence by the man himself that he makes mistakes and i'm bitter? You've got issues although I suspect it's more because you're very young, in guessing 12?

The point you're missing spectacularly is that I'm not saying Williams is a bad player, just that even the very best players past and present have made more than 2 mistakes. Unless of course you've played all of your games on fantasy island?

But hey hurl your abuse as once you resorted to it all can see who's ahead in the debate

What more could De Vries have done to stop that pass going in? I'm sure he got to it as fast as he possibly could. Shame the pass, and such a risky one at that, was off target.

Whatever happened to DEFENDING and clearing the ball in tight situations.

tut tut carpe, you are changing what was originally said.

It was claimed Ashley Williams is known for his mistakes and makes loads of them. Swans fans quite rightly said this was rubbish and very rarely makes major goal conceding mistakes. nobody has been able to disprove this.

the fact you are now claiming Mark Hudson, who isn't even in this debate, has never made a mistake is ridiculous. especially when he was widely criticised after the 5-4 loss against Charlton where MM actually had to come out and defend him :laughing6:

but anyway, back to Williams. good isn't he!!

I'm afraid you completely missed the point. I'm debating the claim that Williams has only made 2 mistakes in over 200 games. Even you can't support this?

My statement about Hudson was purely to point out the ludicrous suggestion that I should be able to give details of every mistake Williams has made. Picking hudson was immaterial as I could have named any Cardiff player to make the point.
Come on RM keep up I would expect you to spot the facetious part of my post?

There's 4, and that's without properly looking into it or watching your games live to remember the specifics of others. :ayatollah:

So that's on average one per premier league season. :notworthy:

Once again, because i'm not obsessed with your club, i dont remember the specifics of the others. :ayatollah:

Bored of this now, i've proven my point. Last time I come on this thread. Will leave other readers to decide who is right. :ayatollah:

I'm afraid you completely missed the point. I'm debating the claim that Williams has only made 2 mistakes in over 200 games. Even you can't support this?

My statement about Hudson was purely to point out the ludicrous suggestion that I should be able to give details of every mistake Williams has made. Picking hudson was immaterial as I could have named any Cardiff player to make the point.
Come on RM keep up I would expect you to spot the facetious part of my post?

And im debating the claim he isn't known for his mistakes and doesn't make them often. In fact makes the least mistakes of any defender ive had the pleasure of watching.

so far this hasn't been proven otherwise.

Wow you just don't get it at all :laughing6:

One last time - even good players make mistakes, don't get all previous about it. The headline news for you us that I'm a Cardiff fan and don't remember every minute from every game. My bad I know

I provide a quote from the man himself but still you won't go concede. I'm guessing you still believe in Father Christmas? Quite endearing really so you put off growing up for as long as you can

Lets play your game - Hudson has never made a mistake. Can you tell me when he has and if so all the games where he did?

tut tut carpe, you are changing what was originally said.

But we can provide specifics as we watch him week in week out. the fact you can name one a season adds weight to our theory, not yours.

I'd say the same about a CCFC player too.. Not just because he's a jack.

Hard to argue with this.
