well after all the bollocks on this thread i think it's pretty obvious who the footballing world see as the biggest club , you are struggling to get anyone in and if the media are to be believed no one will touch you with a bargepole at the moment despite offering stupid money for an unproven boy as one example , you lot need to take this as a reality check fellas look down west and you will see a team building a strong squad with players wanting to join

cardiff bigger than swansea ?? only in cardiff supporters heads by the look of it chaps ;)

one question , do you think you are looking at players that are out of your league ? maybe if you looked at players more your standard you might get a few faces in

two ways of looking at it really, it shows good ambition from us doesnt it?

No doubt we are the bigger club, but you are the more sucessful in recent years making it easier for you to attact players, simple really.

Your jack buddies have already confessed to beleiving Swansea are bigger than Wigan, despite Wigan having had
ten years in the Premiership and an FA Cup win.

So going by your own criteria, surely two seasons in the Premiership cannot possibly have elevated Swansea to the
biggest Club in Wales? - ahead of a Club with a bigger ground - more illustrious history - bigger City - bigger fan base -
bigger catchment area -

How on Earth can you expect to convince Cardiff City fans that Swansea are a bigger Club when you cannot even
convince the people in your own area?

Give it up lad. Swansea are the biggest thing in their own City, but drive five miles East and you start to hit
Blue areas :D

you can talk about criteria , convincing people and all that nonsense but the cold hard facts are staring you in the face , despite offering stupid amounts of cash you are struggling to bring players in , whilst we on the other hand are getting more or less who we targetted , this shows without doubt players , managers , agents even players dads don't fancy you , think about it you silly boy :D

Gomis was your first target. Bony a bigger gamble than Cornelius because the Dutch league is notoriously weak.
A good signing though, but not your first choice. Gomis turned you down. We did not speak to him. Apart from
that and despite some of the 'ITK' posts on here, name ONE player that has said no to Cardiff City. Its all paper
talk and paranoid posters on here. Me? I sit back and wait patiently because Malky does things his way. We have
no idea where Tom Ince is right now, whether he asked for too much, whether the Club have given him an
ultimatum. Wanyama? he WANTED to come here by all accounts, but Cardiff City wont be held to ransom by Celtic.
Whereas uncle Huw looks ready to pay well over the odds for Bony M.

So all in all, this angle from you is a non-starter.

Now give me a set of criteria in which Swansea City are a bigger Club than Cardiff. Oh and as i said before, If
you can come up with something convincing - get it published in the Neath/Port Talbot Chronicle

And that is that. The only thing that matters. This transfer window has shown them up as.small time. Whilst we sign quality and add strength all over the park. The reaction of ince is an embarrassing one for your club. Nobody else in for him and a massive wage promised and first team football and still he needs more time. Embarrassed for you.

If Tom Ince comes here for £8m then its OBVIOUSLY a gamble. The lad has not played at the highest
level. But its a CALCULATED risk. The lad is very very highly thought of in the game and was one of
if not THE best player i saw last season. We coped with Austin, we coped with Rhodes, we coped with
Murray and we coped with Zaha. But Ince roasted us up there.

Now, lets have another look at JonJo Shelvey.

He has gone backwards at Liverpool. He cost £1.7m and could not get a game for a side that were pretty
mediocre for much of the season.

How the flying f**k can Swansea justify paying £7m for him? Is it simply because he was bought from
Liverpool? Its the daftest purchase of the window so far. I love it!!

Both players are young and both played top flight football in the best leagues in the world. Both will add strength in depth to our squad. And to be honest i go with ml verdict before yours Noticed you missed amat, canas and bony. And jdg on another year. Another massive plus is a fit again neil Taylor who will be like a new signing. With strong talk of still more to come. Yes I would call it quality all over the park. Unless you can show me a position where we haven't got quality?

Amat is a Spanish Under 21. Canas a decent player. Pozuelo not fulfilled his promising career so far. Lad, lets
not spunk up all over your signings. Bargain basement Spaniards you've signed. Michu was a right result but in
life you normally get what you pay for. Your making it sound like you've signed half of Barcelona

Re: Dear Jack bastards...

Theres no doubt we are punching above our weight with some of the names that weve been linked with.

the jacks first season in the PL they bought/signed:
1 GK NED Vorm 27 EU Utrecht Transfer Summer August 2014 £1,500,000 [10]
10 FW ENG Graham 25 EU Watford Transfer Summer June 2015 £3,500,000 [11]
15 MF ENG Routledge 26 EU Newcastle United Transfer Summer August 2014 Undisclosed fee [12]
18 FW ENG Lita 26 EU Middlesbrough Transfer Summer August 2014 £1,750,000 [13]
20 DF ITA ARG Bessone 29 EU Leeds United Transfer Summer August 2013 Free [14]
21 GK POR Moreira 29 EU Benfica Transfer Summer July 2013 Undisclosed fee [15]
23 DF FRA Situ 21 EU Lens Transfer Summer August 2013 £250,000 [14]
25 GK GER Tremmel 32 EU Free agent Transfer Summer August 2013 Free [16]
28 DF ENG Obeng 24 EU Wrexham Transfer Winter June 2015 Undisclosed fee [17]
41 FW NIR Donnelly 19 EU Cliftonville Transfer Winter June 2015 Undisclosed fee [18]
44 DF GRE Moras 30 EU Free agent Transfer Mid-season January 2012 Free [19]

How many of them played last season? 4? Graham played for a while but then you realised he was a bad egg and got shot. So 3 good signings in your first season in the PL.

There was me thinking with all your arrogance you were signing superstars in your first season too :laughing6:

How many of them played last season? 4? Graham played for a while but then you realised he was a bad egg and got shot. So 3 good signings in your first season in the PL.

There was me thinking with all your arrogance you were signing superstars in your first season too :laughing6:

Unfortunately you missed caulker who was superb and siggi who after xmas carried us. Two top draw players

I don't think there's ever been a better time to support Swansea City.I read on here earlier that we're spending too big and panicking into buying new signings. We signed a youngster a couple of years ago from Cliftonville.Rory Donnelly he is and we got him ahead of Liverpool and Everton.Things have been really quiet with him up until the end of last season, where he banged in a load for the u21's.Laudrup decided to leave Moore and Lita behind for our current tour of Holland and take Donnelly instead. He banged in a hat trick earlier and looked superb by all accounts.I'm not bragging on here with this but it's difficult to argue that everything we touch seems to turn to gold. 8-)

Oops! Just realised,wrong board. :laughing6:

Do you think you are a bigger Club than Wigan. Serious question?

Aye, and you couldn't wait to bite. :thumbright:

Cardiff City signed the new "George Best" a few weeks ago, thats how highly rated 16 yr old Gary Lavery is.
Man Utd, Liverpool, Everton, Spurs were all looking at the lad but Cardiff jumped in and signed him. However,
I wouldnt say We got him AHEAD of those Clubs, chances are we just happened to grab him first. Perhaps the
other Clubs were undecided? Or why would a 16 yr old choose Cardiff City over Man Utd or Liverpool. But yes
of course, if you want to make it sound like this Donnelly chose Swansea over Liverpool... crack on :?

"I know there was serious interest from Liverpool and Everton"

Try as i might i just cannot see where that can translate to Swansea being ''chosen'' over either Club.
See, that would mean those Clubs made him an offer. Cant see the Everton ''bid'' anywhere in your
article lad?

here try this:

"Cardiff City signed Gary Lavery despite Sir Alex Ferguson himself speaking to the boy on the phone to
try persuading him to go to Manchester United"

Yeh, i made it up. Looks good tho eh
