Allso bradford had a harder route to the final then u did in your 2.
As for playing watford in blue? Do u think it would have been a nuce gesture by the club to have the biggest game in your history in the historic blue thst is your original colours after all.

It wasnt the biggest game in our history

I said I was pretty sure. I'm pretty sure because Bradford were poor.

Wasn't our biggest game in history though.

Financially it might be but historically it isnt.

Appearing in an FA Cup final is the biggest game in my supporting lifetime and historically weve won the FA Cup and had European nights v Real Madrid. Plus we have been in the top division before albeit 52 years ago.

FFS Paul the Premiership isnt the be all and end all. Its not like either of us is going to win it.

Yes its great to finally be there but I can also see me getting bored of it very quickly.

To answer your initial point yes it would be nice to have played in Blue but the club has rebranded wether we like it or not.

So? The FA Cup final on 2008 was bigger than any game I've ever been to. Maybe not the most important, but the biggest.

So long ago? It was 5 years ago.

Pretty confident that had we played Bradford instead of Liverpool, we would have won last year.

we beat liverpool 3-1 at anfield on the way to wembley barry you really need to think before you press submit

We played their best team in a final, you played a second string in an early round. Hardly comparable :thumbright:

I dont know wether its cos we had such a points cushion but it seems weve had promotion in the bag for months. Its never
seemed in doubt since about February.

As far as individual games the Blackpool at Wembley was probably up there with the FA Cup final for pre match
nerves and tension and that "big game" feeling.

Charlton last Tuesday was a case of getting over the line but it didnt feel like a game you would say was biggest in our history cis even if we lost we would still probably be promoted.

Its all irrelevant this. Both sides of the argument.

Like City fans who say if Jones played Ramsey in Cup Final we would have won

The Charlton match wasn't a big game. There is one very simple reason.

If Charlton had won we still would of been promoted because Watford lost.

Important games are games you have to win, that match was just a big celebration. A celebration that will live with most of us for the rest of our lives.

Jesus, did it really take people so long into the thread to realise the kits would blend?

We should've played in blue more, but for this game it wasn't possible.

Explain how a kit of claret with light blue under the arms clashes with blue??.

It doesn't. It's clear to see that the owners prefer black to blue for our away kit.

The only reason we wore blue at Watford was because black clashed with the black on wat fords kit.

Fans can bury their head in the sand all they like, it's clear the club are intent on eradicating blue totally.

Just thought it was blue away.
No need for the muppet remark no was there.

Our blue kit is officially our second kit ,and has only been worn 3 times this season

A fact i think you'll agree is an absolute liberty by the C8nt in high trousers

'We' are embarrassing ourselves by denying the facts you point out. And diminishing the chance of ever returning to 'our' original identity. Instead of mouthing off to a cyber jack, how about we get our own house in order. starting with a bit of honesty.
