Well EU won't be doing anything as the sanctions they are proposing needs a certain majority and due to Germany amongst others not supporting anything Eu want to do everything will fail! gutless politicians the lot of them....

I have little knowledge on the Yemen, but I believe it is more of a trajic civil war and not ethnic cleansing. One side does not have the backing of the most powerful country in the world. However you are free to start a thread on the Yemen. Obviously, any mass killing is terrible tragic and sad.

But Netanyahu wouldn't agree to anything that gives any sort of equality to Gaza so if it succeeds then can't see it improving much other than stopping the war.

Blair is not a popular person in the area that's fo sure! I have my doubts about israels ultimate aims whilst Palestinians may ultimately get their land back how much autonomy they'll have is open to question given Israel's control over the Palestinian people.... the middle east countries are primarily on board with the plan but can see problems down the line when Israel start putting obstacles and excuses for stopping Palestinians from ability to self govern... meanwhile Netanyahu is on very shaky ground at home as his right wing coalition are not that happy with amongst other things an apology he gave Qatar!

However a definitive and robust security solution must be offered for protection of civilians. That has to be something that can fight back against the IDF if needed and should involved American peacekeepers to truly ensure it is lasting.
