Just before I go to the pub.
You are avoiding a direct and proper response.
Are you saying that swansea city, the club that you support are not the club that went into admin and paid the creditors 1p in the £(AFAIR)?
Now flush with cash as you delightedly point out, is there not a moral responsibility on the part of the club to do the right thing by these creditors(with interest)?
What about halting the rip off of the local council tax payers and paying some rent (back rent with interest included)?

As to the jack epithet your multiple identities are confusing you

Hi again.

No, im saying Swansea City, the team I dont support but have a rationl opinion of - have twice the amount that Tan has invested or is reported to want to invest in us so why would they be jealous.

As for your off topic point regarding paying a decade old debt thats already been settled and that was accrued by another man - no I dont think they should pay it as the creditors accepted the 5% settlement offer.

Just as im sure we wouldnt pay Sam the other £14 million in 10 years time should we win the lottery 50 times in a row after he accepted £10 million to settle the debt.

They also pay everything they are required to in terms of rental of the stadium.

ARE WE SERIOUSLY having a go at Swansea (even though nobody at the club currently had anything to do with that) for going into administration over sum of 800k more than a decade ago...

Wen we are trying to pay Sam Hammam £14 million LESS than what hes owed.

Unbelievable irony.

Not wanting to put a dampener on this ridiculous thread but....

1) ''Mr Tans investment'' is in the majority to plug our losses for the next 12 months as well as consolidating our existing debts, dont think super powers in football are made by an investment of around £5-6 million in the playing staff

2) Swansea made £55 million last year and will make £55 million this year... If they go down they earn another £38 million... if the stay up they earn another £82 million with the new TV package = the minimum they would have earned in their visit to the Prem if it ended this year is £148 million - but in all likelyhood it will be £192 million + the £38 million parachute payments MORE THAN TWICE what Tan intends on investing and they can spend theirs on what they like. Do you really think they are jelous? Not to nention the fact they didnt have to change their badge, colours and nickname to achieve that cash they just got their head down and worked hard for it.

3) please can we stop embarassing ourselves.

thanks.

Jack,
nice maths and if your club is taking that much money how about doing the decent thing and fully re-paying all those creditors who were shafted at the time of administration? A start on paying some rent might also be appreciated by the local council tax payers who subsidise your occupation of the municipal stadium.

How much did cardif council sell that prime bit of land where your new home is ?

I'm running late but I'll give you some respect as by your moniker you may have done your bit.
Not sure of the numbers off hand but as part of the overall redevelopment the council got all sorts of goodies including the athletics stadium, road improvemnts etc. The CCS car park is also used as a park and ride car park and a bus terminus and the council let it off occasionally for other uses so whatever the deal it was no doubt a fair one.
Obviously from CCFC viewpoint however the virtual freehold of the stadium belongs to the club. It is not a municipal (or now even shared thank goodness)stadium where the club have to pay rent. If that were different however I am sure the club would meet it's renatal obligations and not rip off the local council tax payers.

We meet all our stadium rental obligations thanks.

Any idea how much our local businesses who agreed to a CVA were shafted by?[/quote]

Which time, because you,ve shafted them twice, once paying back 10p in the pound the other time 5p in the pound!!!

Good post showing the ''local businesses'' Swansea ''shafted''...

1. Steve Penney solicitors. Steve Penney is now the clubs solicitor!

2. Lewis pies. The Lewis family are all ardent SCFC fans and hold Premier season tickets.

3. Mel Nurse. Ummm Mel Nurse was part of the original consortium that took the club on!

Errrrr and thats it folks! Nothing too see here.

And please. Dont mention the council taxpayers of Swansea after you were given millions of pounds of prime public land to build your stadium on!

Honestly, this discussion about us not paying money to local buisnesses a good 10 years ago. How much did we leave them out of pocket? £750,000, if that. We could pay that back if it was needed, easily. But we came to an agreement at the time, and as a result we don't need to pay it.

On the other hand, your club is trying to rip off the people you owe money to, such as Sam Hamman, who your trying to pay a good £15 million less then he is owed.

You also have never paid Feyenoord, that I know of, for part of a sell on clause in Glenn Loovens contract.

You also waited until you had to sell Chopra on to Ipswich to be able to pay Sunderland the full amount for him.

We're not going to harp on about this sort of stuff in 2022, because we'll have a lot more new things to laugh at and to look down at you on. The reality is that we've done next to nothing wrong or next to nothing anything other than perfect since 2002 for you to laugh at, leaving you harping on about 3 things: us owing £750,000 to creditors, the council owning our stadium and a picture of Andy Robinson and Lee Trundle kissing.

Whilst of the top of my head we have:

- The Rebrand
- You bottling it (West Ham 5-0 Cardiff, Reading 3-0 Cardiff, Cardiff 3-2 Blackpool, Preston 6-1 Cardiff)
- Debt (£35 million debt, £54 million debt, £70 million debt, £80+ million debt) (Not paying full amount of money for players like Quinn, Loovens, Chopra) (Not paying the wages of players at certain stages)
- Vincent Tan (the fact he doesn't even have a buisness plan for your rebrand, it's all in his head)
- Your stadium (Never filled, quiet as f**k, "Is there a fire drill?", turning red, talk of a stadium expansion)
- Big name failures that never got you any where such as the Bellamy, Chopra, Bothroyd front three
- Your in a lower division then us, with a weaker squad in every area of the pitch

All of this stuff, is generally 2009 onwards. What do you have on us 2009 onwards? Absoloutely f**k all. And we, Swansea City, are supposed to be jealous of you? What have I got to be jealous of, what do you have that we don't?

We have had our fair share of financial problems that is granted however we have never been in administration which really is the easy way out....you should know that you have been there twice

Our stadium quiet as fu*k? really wasn't on 7th April 2010 or have you forgot that one?

Enjoy your season in the sun because guaranteed you'll have second season syndrome as teams have worked you out all pretty football but no end product.

You lot are obsessed with us otherwise you would not spend as much time on this board commenting on CCFC related matters

Has Gylfi signed yet.......your record signing ......ohh no he hasn't Swansea's a sh*thole and he wants to go home!!!

Yes, but we've done something about it haven't we. We've sorted that out, and i've said, that was over 10 years ago, get over it.

Having to go back over 2 year for an example of a good atmosphere just shows my point.

Second season syndrome is hardly a guarenteed thing, people use the idea of second season syndrome either as ignorance to a clubs success the previous season or to support their statement the previous year that they would go down and use phrases like 'riding on euphoria' or in the example of most deluded scummer, both. The reality is that we're far more likely to stay up this season then we were last season. That's why people are betting in that way, and we aren't favourites to go down.

Every club misses out on certain signings, he didn't think that it was a shit hole though, he enjoyed his time her and liked the area. I don't see you attracting players of that magnitude to your club, although you do pay Kenny Miller the same wages that Gylfi was on in his time here.

You've got a thread about how we should be jealous of you. Firstly, that shows your delusion to you. Secondly, it certainly gives us the right to give our opinion on the subject.

My final sentence of my original post was "All of this stuff, is generally 2009 onwards. What do you have on us 2009 onwards? Absoloutely f**k all. And we, Swansea City, are supposed to be jealous of you? What have I got to be jealous of, what do you have that we don't?" That still stands after that point. You've not even attempted to post anything that I should be jealous of, and haven't attempted to post anything that you have over us. Want to try again?

Swansea City never has and in my oppinion never will be regarded as a bigger club than Cardiff City. That's what you've got to be jealous about! Nothing else. In every other department you are ahead of us. Debts, Premiership and nice football. How you govern a big club is up to you but hand on heart do you think you are a bigger club? The answer must be "NO". But i will admit that Swansea City are currently in a very good situation......If you are a JACK.
