Not much commitment with you is there? Leave Merthyr, then UKIP. You still have their morals.

Plaid is the way forward, ymlaen.

Bearing I'm mind I moved away from Merthyr purely for economic reasons I would like to think that I am very committed for constantly trying to achieve the best life for myself and my family.

Anyone pro- monarchy Welsh person just has not got a clue. Literally, they have no hope. And yes, you can be a unionist, anti- monarchy (and also support the Welsh language)

If someone has said to me last week that I'd be on the same side of the fence as Adam f*cking Brown, The Lad and Polo i'd have jumped into the channel.

Also the Lad you make an excellent point for once. It's a victim complexity that these insecure bellends can't seem to shake off. Get on with your lives and stop being so bitter.

Nationalists see a system they don't like because they aren't in charge of it, they seek through independence to put themselves in charge of there own system they created. This is scare because most Plaid voters are mindless, despotic nutcases.

As for this welsh not British thing, how many of you can actually speak welsh? Know the anthem in welsh? Know what it means? So many passionate welsh out that can't be arsed to learn the language, a countries strongest identity

I know every word of the anthem and can speak welsh. Happy?

Never said I wasn't happy. Pleased you can but I would put my mortgage on you being in the minority. Nothing worse than the tv cameras focussing on people in the stadium miming to the welsh anthem clearly not having a clue what they are supposed to be singing. For all they know the words could be "I love England and welsh are their slaves". Yet they will swear what passionate welsh they are

In my opinion if you are welsh and you don't know your own anthem then you aren't a proper Welshman/woman

Ur not a proper welshman unless you knw the anthem what a load of aids that is. Seriously, go home dick head

Sorry cant agree with some of the comments opted on here. After a full career in the army sometimes fighting for and indeed at one stage under the union flag I am proud to be welsh and proud to be British . I am not thick and I fully understand how the flag was formed and it represents an ideal of justice and freedom that is worth every Welshman fighting for.
In closing I remind you that fighting for that flag throughout the ages enables you to express the views that I disagree with!

Well said mate.

There's many amongst our support that believe that if they say it long or loud enough then its the truth - whilst the silent majority sit back shaking their heads in disbelief. Small town paranoia imo.

Welsh AND British.

'I'm more outraged at you' competition threads started by the usual plastic Welsh Nationalists, you gotta love them!!

Whilst I do love the occasional visit to 'CCMB', it's comedy gold most of the time, I do sometimes shudder at some topics/posts.
Fair play, I just can't work out if there is a silent majority who allow the idiot element to get away with it, or if the silent majority doesn't actually exist, and the vast majority of Cardiff fans are that stupid?!
Or maybe it's the large Catholic/Irish/Celtic element at Legoland that breeds this hostility towards Britain?
who knows.

Still. Couldn't care less really. I love you lot looking the fools, long may it continue :ayatollah: :old: :ayatollah:

Once have I felt British in my adult life, during The Falklands and even then was sat on the fence as to the reasons why we were out there as I still am today.

I DESPISE the Union flag, we are overlooked and ignored, Saints Patrick, George and Andrew all represented. I cannot believe Welsh people who wear daffodils on their heads for the egg, then fly a Union Jack to celebrate The Queen of another country with German heritage. I was hoping the recent and very excellent Story of Wales by the BBC would have educated some of them, but honestly I feel like ripping them all down, its cringeworthy.

Re: People with Union Jack flags out in Wales…..

I think some people have wandered off the point here. People in Wales are flying a flag which does not represent them in any shape of form and the sad thing is they don't realise it. It's time for change and it needs to be debated as soon as possible in the Welsh Government and the English Government. Petitions with a certain amount of signatures (1,000 I think?) and there has to be a debate……..I think I may start one after all this 'English-German-Greek' nonsense over the next few days and I look forward to getting as many signatures as possible from the true Welshman on here who would love to see our country represented on the Union flag.
