carl i havent read all replies,but why are we being "PROPPED UP" to the sum of 1.5 million a month........thats shocking

the money being invested is into paying off historical debt left by other owners and chairmen and there is significant investment going into our youth and acadamy set ups.
The new set up in treforest puts us up there with premier league clubs facility wise and is a sign of the malaysians long term plans.

I'm not for one minute saying that tan doesn't have ambition to make us a premier league club, (of course he does) but what i am saying is that this won't be his main source of income out of buying cardiff. (this will be from malaysia)

It's pointless me going into detail about this as i know i'd just end up talking nonsense as some of the details are a mystery to me, but i know there's a land deal, to a lesser extent a gambling deal, and to a lesser extent again (though more obvious to us) the asian market itself which has proven to be fruitful for the top teams in the world.

Now my challenge to you is to show me where TG and Tan have been dishonourable so far in their dealings with cardiff city.
Every promise (in public interviews) they have made they have honoured.
Not once did they say they would just lump out millions on new players. TG always maintained that they would attempt to make us self sufficient. It's not their fault that they took over a club up to its eyeballs in debt!
Can't you see that this is why we are losing so much money. We also sold off assets, catering contracts etc long term so no money can be made from these.

I have to agree with all this. I think it is a quality post to be honest can't find anything in it that is not true. Let's not get ahead of ourselves and think that promotion this year is vital. If we had always been around 10th most of us would have been happy but our higher position has given us hope of the PL and now that we are slightly dropping we are complaining. Understandable I guess, as it does seem so close. We can all moan about the lack of signings, the Final taking your eye off the league etc but I am more than happy to have a final to go to, a team that works hard and appreciates the fans, a manager who has committed long term and seems to have vision and a long term plan for the club and the people within it.

We all have opinions and we will never agree with each other 100% but that is life. My opinion is that we are ahead of where we thought we would be back in the summer and I am bloody happy about it.
