Thank you Chief i have an Alli. Not one person has said it would be great to create an atmosphere that would inspire our team and by god they need inspiring. I do agree though that it's not hard to keep quiet for a minute whether you wish to pay respect or not. After all we are talking about paying respect to fallen conscripted soldiers and young lads who joined the military to escape difficult domestic circumstances in many cases.

Having had more involvement within this game than others in this site I will give you a insight to how my experience was.

I attended a catholic primary school which will remain nameless and the priest at the local church was a huge Celtic fan. Every so often he would arrange a coach to travel to Glasgow and watch Celtic. None of us were really Celtic fans we just went to watch football and just loved the game. Unfortunately however the priest used the time to try and brain wash us all about the Catholic reglion and the hatered against the Church of England. He was succesful with some of us and if Im honest including myself but as I grew up and understood life more it really turned me against Celtic, the Catholic faith and if Im honest Irish people as a whole.

You liar.....Had a word with a few of the Merthyr boys about you Adam....They reckon you had a belter of a day out singing the rebs at a Celtic friendly in Brum not too many years ago...a hell of a long time after this imaginary priest forced you to be be a tim Browny you are full of shit

I can't believe I read all this through, what an hilarious thread to find on a Cardiff City forum. I don't mind Rangers from a purely football perspective, also that they wear blue and their fans are quite loud and enjoyable. This whole Old Firm nonsense on the other hand is laughable and makes me wonder why Welshmen seem to care so much, unless they have some hidden agenda, because it can't be about the quality of football can it? Seeing as it's about League One standard.
