That's not good and not good for the players

They’ll learn from it.

They'll learn not to play without a striker & hopefully to play the ball forward not backwards.

I don't think people will remember tonight come next may, it is what it is our kids got out played by experienced league footballers, this game will have no effect on what happens Saturday it's about as relevant as an u21 game

They’ll learn they have to adapt to the modern game. Maybe they’re not as good as we thought?

BBM made a mistake not playing a striker. Perfect game for Robbo for me but might have a knock

Oh 100% I want us to win every game but I won't be dissapointed or have a go at our kids for tonight's performance it's just one of those time you just shrug your shoulders and move on to the next game

Luey Giles' cross is met by Noah Williams at the back post, but the youngster can't turn it in!

It's a shame we have such a small squad so we've had to play some youngsters who are clearly not quite ready tonight.

All it will take is a few key injuries to our first team and we will start taking a few hidings too.

We desperately need a minimum of 3 extra players in January. Tonight has shown our squad is way too small.

Just don’t think some of these youngsters are good enough sadly, trouble is we’re a few injuries away from these playing regular

Should have played Robertson who had no game time on Saturday. Also Robinson for 45 minutes and then Davies for 45. It seems to me that more first team players need game time - we have far too many who can only seem to do 45 on Saturday. And surely Chambers should have started today.

Ross,

That's our biggest worry, but BBM keeps stating he is happy and does not want a bigger squad, I hope its not our downfall

A few of these kids would be fine in the first team it's when you have 7 or 8 playing against men the gap in physicality is so evident

For me annis BBM put pressure on himself now with that score line tonight if we don’t win Saturday people be gunning for him

It’s not that they are young, it’s they lack physicality.

We looked average today, they looked in control. We didn’t threaten their goal and lost the ball in dangerous positions. It’s a nice change to say we were sloppy for a change, this was our first team performance last season.

Nyakuwha looked poor today, he’s impressed in among the first team players but today is hoped he would stand up and show what he can do.

Donczew looked decent for the time he was on

That was a conscious decision by BBM to play the U21s, who played well against Arsenal U21's. We act as if it were Arsenal, it wasn't, it was a group of lads who didn't dominate us as Wimbledon did.

In previous rounds, we played a mixture of senior pros to get a few lads fit.

BBM doesn't want to many first-teamers suited and booted in the corporate area on matchdays. I guess we'll get 2 or 3 potential starters in the window to cover Rubin
