Chambers and NG have definitely weakened us as well.

FFS..... make the run, not hag around for a tap in !!!!

Boys against men, and a ref who thinks its still the 90's. we need to change the wingers, they are being overpowered

I'd take Joel off, push chamber upfield and bring on the new centre half

Kpakio for Perry as well. He was poor last season and again starts this year poorly.

Poor half but I will credit Stockport. Their press on us has been outstanding. The referee has been dreadful and not helped though. So bias.. Interesting to see BBM and how he reacts. First really serious test of the season. Ashford and Joel Colwill need changing. Need Turnbull in the middle of the park. Though we'd lose today and will accept that if we have a better half. Stockport are by far the best team we've played this season

They’ve been miles better than us, too slow going forward, trying to force it down the left hand side.

Penalty seemed soft, if that was a penalty there was a shout earlier in the half for Joel to have one when the player ran through the back of him just inside the box.

The positive is we have a decent few options on the bench, 5-10 minutes of the second half to see if there’s a reaction and otherwise I’d expect things to start changing.

We are still in this, but it needs a totally different second half

Sorry, looking again, it wasn’t a penalty and we should have got a free kick (maybe two) in the build up!

League One referees are seemingly going against us so far this season, as are their assistants!

Not an excuse though, as Stockport have been the better team so far. Thankfully, we know we can be better! :ayatollah:

HALF-TIME SCORE: STOCKPORT COUNTY 1 - 0 CARDIFF CITY (37 mins)

They are doing what Port Vale did to us but with more quality.

It’s a decent wake up call to be fair.

Too many if our fans thought we were gonna walk this league.

It was always going to be this way against Dave Challiner's Stockport. There will be many more away games like this and we need to learn quickly. We are lucky to only be 1-0 down.

My concern is we haven't looked ready at all for the problems a Dave Challiner Stockport team were always going to throw at us. We are lacking composure all over the pitch.

I would sub NG, switch Chambers to right back and bring Lawlor on, for added composure and distribution. Joel Colwill is on a yellow, so I would sub him for Turnbull to have another player who can put his foot on the ball and pass it. Bringing on two players with added composure and passing ability will help us second half. It can't get any worse.

This is what I was expecting, bigger men who can play a bit. They have bullied us, plain and simple. Whether we think that's fair is a matter of opinion.

Ashford has been awful again today

Willock done nothing

Ng has no go forward

Joel and Wintle losing the midfield battle

Ref is shocking

Let's get a bit of perspective here:

Stockport finished 3rd in this league last season. They are no mugs.

They were always going to show a reaction from their last game.

I said before the game it would be tough. I predicted a 3-1 defeat.

It's a miracle. Somebody fouls Salech and the referee gives it.

Don't mind losing to the better team but at least have some fight in us 1st half totally unexceptable

Last season is last season Ned.

Same for us last season is last season.

No excuses we have been awful so far today

Today is the first time we’ve played a team in the Top 12
They are a very very small club and so far they are the better team.

Perhaps we're just flat track bullies who require perfect conditions for our pretty football.

Really hope this isn't the beginning of the end of our season!

The other we played very well actually in a 2 all draw v Leicester.

I’ve been to as many Cardiff games as Oxford games this season.

The Bluebirds are conspiring to give Stockport chances right now, as they give the ball away comparatively easily (again) and Stockport have another shot!

At the other end, the Bluebirds see Ashford put a useful ball across, and that is what we need to see more of!

C’mon, you Bluebirds! :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluescarf: :ayatollah:
