In short my take on all this is that the close outcome and the seeming failure by the democrats to take the Senate will dent the loony left‘s (it’s not just UK that has these) aim to create a new dawn of socialism. If I was American I would want Biden to build on the four main achievements of the Trump presidency: to carry on overhauling the tax system (and not repeal the Corporate Tax system); deregulation of more red tape to create new business (unlike Obama); the peace advances in the Middle East and not least continue to be strong on trade, but not be so isolationist especially with the UK.
