I'm what way ?

We are hitting long holeful balls and losing the second ball every time

They are letting us have it as they Re finding it easy to contain us other than set pieces

One shot on target for them says more about our finishing than their tactics or ours for that matter

Pathetic

2 things cost us, shit defending after 2 min and to many sitters missed. Cant fault the performance if I'm honest. We keep going as we always do. :bluebird: :bluescarf:

For 80 mins we passed the ball well and created good openings/chances from open play. Only in the last 10 mins did we go long as they put on a centre back and defensive players. Didn’t have much choice as they dropped really deep. The midfields far too congested to pass our way through. Moore, Hoilett, Ralls and Wilson all missed good chances. Should have taken a couple of them.

We play like that we will win games.

Anyone who thinks we played better than them is deluded. We looked absolutely hopeless on the ball and didn’t look dangerous at all. Harris has to go

Just quality tactics and confidence knowing we couldn't hurt them

They didn't need to go for a second unless we scored

Did we really have any clear cut chances other than the header from Moore

Not sure how you can say we didn’t play better. Seems like you have an axe to grind rather than being objective.

When Bristol City prepared for this game do you think their game plan was to come here and dominate the game like we did? No doubt we dominated the statistics but statistics mean nothing significant - the only thing that matters is the scoreline. Bristol City managed the game well, held their defensive line well, remained disciplined throughout the game and intimidated our most physical players (notably O'Dowda vs Nelson and Morrison/Kalas vs Moore). In considering that, compare their performance to ours - what did we do best? We didn't do much well but oh well, at least we had the ball more than they did and we managed to put the ball in their box a few times. We didn't play well because we came close to scoring once or twice...we played poorly despite coming close to scoring once to twice.

My point being - they executed their game plan far better than we did. Don't let statistics fool you :old:

Don't assume someone is being unreasonable just because they have a different opinion to you...

You’re making assumptions of your own.

I don’t pay attention to statistic. Possession means nothing if you don’t win. Yes, we lost which is the only thing that matters.

Your comment was that we didn’t play better than Bristol. We did. We had more chances, looked more threatening and defended well apart from the fist 2 mins.

Just because they won doesnt mean they played well. Defended well yes. Bristols performance was straight out of the Warnock playbook.

What assumption did I make?

You do realise that the number of chances created is a statistic? It means nothing unless you put them away. In the Premier League Wolves have created something like the 5th lowest amount of chances and Man Utd the 2nd fewest chances - lower than Fulham but Man Utd are clearly the better team and have been better all season.

Did any of our chances where we looked "threatening" look more threatening than Bristol City's chance in the 2nd minute where they scored? Obviously not as they scored therefore they did a better job in that aspect.

I agree that we defended well at times but they defended better all game so they did that better too.
