With regard to the Chelsea loanee at Swansea BBC Sport reports that it is a loan deal until the end of the season. With an option to extend for another 12 months. It doesn't say who has the option, Chelsea or Swansea, probably Chelsea I would imagine as he is their player, so unless they are not reporting the facts it is a loan deal until the end of 2019/20, the rest depends if the option is excerised. I presume if Swansea wanted to take up the option then it would be at Chelsea's behest.

You can find on BBC website.

Chelsea starlet Marc Guehi is due to complete a loan move to Swansea that will see him reunited with his former England under-17 boss Steve Cooper and team-mate Rhian Brewster.

Swansea have agreed an 18-month loan deal for highly-rated centre-back Guehi with Chelsea which will be finalised on Thursday once he completes a medical and the final pieces of paperwork.

The agreement is understood to include a break clause at the end of the season.

The key is to not argue with facts.

1) Sausages cause cancer (group 1 carcinogen as listed by the World Health Organisation and Cancer Council)
2) Xmas is often used by corporations and non religious people as Christmas is rarely about religion in the Western World these days.
3) Jurgen Klopp has stated that Brewster is part of the first team and was included in the Super Cup squad and Champions League squads.
4) Guehi has signed an 18 month loan with Swansea.

All of the above are facts. Why on earth would anyone feel the need to want to argue them?

That’s because people are desperate to prove me wrong about anything and everything due to my excellent (but frustrating) track record of accuracy.

I can’t help how people react to my posts unfortunately, you will have to take it up with them. Ta.

Wasting your time he does not see what is put in front of him? Chelsea site clearly states end season with option for another 12mnths.... there is not a contract for 18months otherwise they would have say loan until 2021 that's so simple to understand except for mr know all who thinks the word option is a contract. :old:

Of course it is an 18 month loan. It is not an option to extend, it is an option to terminate. Big difference.

It’s an 18 month loan :thumbright:

I’m not wrong. It’s an 18 month loan deal with a break clause at the end of the season.

That isn’t me manipulating anything, it isn’t an option to extend - it is an option to break. A break clause is a contract that can be broken at a specific date, in this case it is the end of the season. However the contract is an 18 month loan.

It really is that simple.

....Chelsea believe the Ivory Coast-born defender has the potential to become a fixture in their first team in the coming years but are keen for him to gain regular first team football to develop.

Frank Lampard has agreed to sanction an 18-month stay with the Swans confident Cooper will give him the game time and guidance to see him progress and develop.

Premier League clubs Southampton and Norwich, along with Nottingham Forest, had all been interested in taking Guehi on loan.

The Blues are also prepared to send midfielder Tariq Uwakwe on loan to Derby until the end of the campaign

I added the most shocking part of it all to the end of your post...

I am afraid as much as I bring to the forum in terms of views and sense, the offshoot of that is I do get the usual suspects following me around the forum trying (and failing) to disprove anything I type, so threads do tend to get a bit bogged down. The mods really should be looking at the ones continually derailing, genuinely.

Second article by your club in which they say his deal is until end of the season.

I suggest you either pop down to the club or perhaps email them and tell them they've got it wrong.

Honest you make me genuinely laugh, you know you got something wrong, the evidence is put in front of you, you get angry knowing your wrong but look for ways to still say your right.

Its the old adage say it enough times and people will believe you.

Your club and Chelsea have agreed to look at a longer extension at the end of the season but its not an 18month loan deal, it will potentially be an extension to his current deal.

Have a good day im off to actually watch my club today.

They say that not to confuse the likes of yourself and Pembroke Allen by mentioning break clauses. Look at what it has don't to you both just on this thread for example. Many people don't understand things like that.

We have him guaranteed until the end of the season as there is no break or recall clause, hence we are reporting that. However the deal is an 18 month loan deal with break clause with a date at the end of the season. There is no situation ''to look at extending'', there will be no extension necessary - there just will be no break clause exercised on the 18 month deal,

Really cannot put it any simpler for you.

Chelsea starlet Marc Guehi has completed a loan move to Swansea that sees him reunited with his former England under-17 boss Steve Cooper and team-mate Rhian Brewster.

Swansea have agreed an 18-month loan deal for highly-rated centre-back Guehi with Chelsea which was be finalised on Thursday after completing a medical.

The agreement is understood to include a break clause at the end of the season.

But the intention is for Guehi, 19, to spend the rest of this campaign and whole of next in Wales and continue his development with regular football.

Chelsea hope the long-term loan will accelerate Guehi’s development and he will return ready to be a Chelsea regular, just as Andreas Christensen was after spending two seasons at Borussia Monchengladbach.

Cooper’s side then was spearheaded by striker Brewster, who was top scorer in the tournament and also joined Swansea on loan this week.

Guehi has made two appearances for Chelsea’s first team, EFL Cup starts against Grimsby and Manchester United this season.

Cabango starting due to VdH's injury, that could be the key if you are to win.

He is going to be a fabulous player for club and country but a very big occasion for him, he will need a cool head. Also Brewster starting so will see how he adapts. Some inexperience to exploit there so this game could go either way.
