I think Bob needs to realise that it is inevitable not everyone on here will share the same political views. No point in getting annoyed because others have different views. I usually vote Conservative and have not read a Sun newspaper in over 20 years. I take the Mirror because I like their sports coverage, and can do the crossword. Their actual news reporting is as ridiculous as the Sun used to be, just that one supports one party and vice versa. Both are full of the equivalent amount of bullshit.

anyway the tories win quite a lot which suggests they cant be that bad, certainly nowhere near the version you have in your head. its just not logical ? and neither is 3 million EU citizens coming to live here to try and share in our prosperity let alone the poor souls that payed to die in a lorry last week if all we have to offer is being treated like 3rd world peasants...

I can’t believe anyone still uses the old Sun/Mail reader insult, Murdoch always sees what way the wind is blowing before he decides who he’s backing, it’s not a Tory paper, he backed Blair and in the Scottish Sun he backed the SNP while the English/Welsh versions were pro the Union.

Consign that loony Marxist to the bin and put that idiotic woman and that ludicrous Scot back in their boxes.

Just hope Farage doesn’t mess it up for the tories.

the country voted leave and labour led by someone who has been a flat out euro sceptic all his life has done everything in its power to scupper democracy..
what should people do...just accept their votes mean nothing or vote accordingly..
im sure once the Brexit thing is resolved and labour have a leader that is not viewed as a scumbag normal service will be resumed.

You shouldn't for or against Corbyn because he's a c**t, as you shouldn't vote for or against Boris because he's a tit.

If Brexit is your overriding issue and you want to leave then you can only vote Tory or possibly the Brexit party. If you want to remain then you vote for the Lib Dems or Labour or others.

Looking beyond that, your Labour vote will take us to a level of socialism this country has ever seen. Ask those over 55 what it was like in a time when industries were nationalised and unions ruled the roost. Bloody awful then and in this competitive world I dread to think what the consequences would be.

I'd like to say it'll only last for a term but I suspect they'll open immigration and voting rights to an extent that the political balance in this country will change for ever.

Blair, Straw and Mandelson have all admitted they implemented an open door immigration policy because they believed migrants would vote Labour. Corbyn Abbott and McDonnell will be exactly the same. Ironically the working class ,especially those on low wages will be the worst affected by this, the very people the Labour Party was formed to help.

I think if this was to choose MEP's, the Brexit Party would probably do quite well as voting would be based on Brexit, and nothing else.. As this election is much more than just Brexit, I think even Farage will realise that his party are unlikely to gain many votes this time. They have no MP's in Parliament, and I doubt if much will change. As is usual, this election will be between the Tories and Labour, although the other parties will probably get enough votes to ensure that no single party will hold an outright majority.

The pro remain lobby wont except that the endless supply of cheap labour from Europe has had huge negative impact on wages and hugely effected employment opportunities in areas where opportunities are limited anyway. Since we voted out and the economies have improved in Eastern Europe its no surprise that wages here have risen significantly. Its costing me more to recruit and retain but that had to happen.

I will still employ a workforce made up of British and Eastern Europeans but we need to be able to pay at levels which allow to people to live and function. To be honest though I see myself hanging up my boots within a couple of years of a Corbyn government. The party will just about be over, with a hang over on the way. Vote Labour and gift austerity to your grand children.

but he is a c@@t and the number 1 reason for many not voting labour..

and why shouldn't people base their vote on that...how many anti terror bills has this bloke voted against ?
I have voted labour in the past and think having 2 strong parties is healthy but as long as this fella is leader of the labour party I cant even consider them... I don't think I am alone .

Thing is mate it’s not only you paying more to retain good people, all your competitors have to do the same. I wrapped in 4 years ago but keep busy on my kids houses, not this week as I’m confined to barracks with man flu. I’m pro immigration but it has to be structured to the country s needs, we don’t need anymore car washes or violin players.

People in Wales generally don't vote Conservative. Labour have run the Welsh Assembly & Wales for years, probably explains why we are in the shit.

well 33% voted Tory last time , Labour got 49% so it would only take 1 in 10 labour voters to switch for Wales to be blue .but people talk as if nobody ever voted tory ?

but personally I never thought id see the day when Welsh people could talk themselves into voting for a person like Corbyn..
it goes way way beyond the saying...that a donkey could stand for labour and be elected..

Dont get me wrong the Labour of today are no better thats why i wish people would realise there are other options, it doesnt have to be labour or tories and with that sort of mindset nothing will change.

Been labour all my life not this time .they have tried hard to block the countries wishes to leave .they didnt think ok let's get on with and work this out .they have entirely gone against a democratic vote of the people.
Jeremy is out of touch with what people want and his blocked a lot of important issues going through.
Jeremy we in wales voted leave so you can shove my vote up your arse you ignorant little man.
At least boris is respecting the vote to leave so for now he gets my vote once the dust has settled I'll reevaluate things.

Because Labour has changed from the party of the working class, who predominantly wish to leave the failing EU. To the party of the middle class who wish to remain.
