Neil, its easy to keep making pot shots/comments on fans posts, but why do you never ever answer posters questions, especially mine? ?

How have I not answered? I even specifically asked for your questions and answered them the post after. You only see the posts you want to pal.

Pal, Just simply answer here then :thumbright:

Ok Neil I will ask again.

You say its nothing to do with the Rebrand, I have answered all your questions time & time again, your turn :thumbright:

HOW COME HOME CROWDS ARE STILL LOW? as I have said we had the Premiership and have been up the top of the Championship for half a season so now it’s not new so our fans need something to get stuck into. There’s nothing to grip them. Warnock is a hero to us but he isn’t a huge name to the floating fans who are the fans we need to attract. As my post about average attendances proved this is regular for our club. We also haven’t got a large number of season tickets to rely on for bigger crowds for reasons I mentioned in my crowds post

Nothing to grip them, unbeaten at home till yes, exciting football and TOP 2 of the Championship for 5 months :D

HOW COME AWAY CROWDS ARE STILL LOW? similar to the answer above plus I’ll add once we have had away trips to Liverpool, Man Utd, Arsenal, Man City etc then trips to Barnsley are simply not going to be attractive. Villa away we had big numbers as that was still attractive.

But to the diehards/ loyal City fans they never cared and went to all these smaller clubs, but we lost them. I went to the Premier away games and 60% the club say were New fans with Premier Seats allowed 4 tickets each   No Loyalty shown to old fans. These New Fans 95% of them were gone as soon as we were relegated, No care for City or Identity.

Not played Villa away this season yet.

HOW COME CARDIFF CITY WERE NEARLY 5,000 DOWN ON BOXING DAY THAN WHEN MALKY WAS HERE ON THE SAME DAY? golden ticket scheme meant we had more season ticket holders which meant crowds were up. Plus we were top of the Championship which was unchartered territory. Much like the crowds increased under DJ when we started the season and sat top. This was sustained success. Plus those that didn’t buy season tickets in the golden ticket scheme bought them when we spent 12 million quid in the summer. We were playing in red so it pisses over any argument you make about rebrand costing us fans.

Season tickets are Cheaper Now than our previous 5 years, so why are they not buying them now?

ITS CHEAPER TO WATCH CITY NOW/MORE OFFERS/CHEAPER SEASON TICKETS & EVEN BUSSES BRINGING FANS IN, SO WHY CANT WE EVEN AVERAGE OVER 20,000 HOME CROWDS NEVER MIND 25,000 LIKE 10 OTHER CHAMPIONSHIP CLUBS & OUR AVERAGE IS DOWN ON MALKY'S SEASON?answers as above. Plus it’s not just about ticket price you add transport costs, pint, food, where to park etc. Not a lot of expendable income out there sadly

Does not affect other clubs, their fans still go?

Fans have virtually the same money in their pockets as they have done in the last few years and its cheaper to watch City.

PLUS HOW COME ONLY 1,290 CITY FANS WENT TO BURNLEY ON OUR BIGGEST AWAY GAME IN 50 YEARS TO WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP.havent got a fooking clue. Title was already won maybe. But you are using an argument that our crowds that season were bigger than now to suit yourself then using a low crowd that season to suit yourself. If I remember right that game was an early kick off and Burnley wasn’t exactly a close trip so it would have meant an early departure for a game where the result didn’t matter. I remember Scunthorpe away (I think) where thousands went as we needed to win to win title

I AM SHOWING YOU THAT THE NEW GLORY FAN WONT GO TO PLACES LIKE THIS EVEN IF IT MEANS SO MUCH TO CITY, BUT WE LOST SOME OF THOSE DIEHARD FANS WHO WENT TO SCUNTHORPE.

Game was 3pm and pay on the gate / No Id /No restrictions / Massive game, City Won the Championship for the first time in our history :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

Why is Warnock/Vince Alm and our club virtually begging more fans to turn up?ive answered that in detail why wouldn’t they? Warnock wants the fans behind the team and Vince probably staked a lot on crowds and changing back to blue and the effect it would have on crowds

Warnock wants to see a packed stadium and a good away support as he has been told City fans use to be like that. Warnock himself has stated he has been Disappointed by our crowds.

I spk to Vince 4-5 times a week, very upset by our low crowds and puts stuff on his FB twice a week.

Don't worry another 10 questions waiting :D

Answers in bold. I’ve answered all of them before. It’s a right pain to do on my phone. Stick the rest up your arse. I’ve indulged this once but I am not going round and round in circles because you don’t see anything unless it suits your agenda.

You make us go around in Circles as you don't accept the Rebrand caused a divide and loss of our fans.
You were never there and I attended meeting after meeting with hundreds of City fans and they were so hurt and I watched so many say thats it and have moved on.

Pal,You have to finally accept Tans/Rebrand has hurt our club more than you will ever understand :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

Camarada, I never once said it didn’t hurt people but hurt our club no. It got us investment that took us up which got us a lot of money. I also agree we lost fans. Just not the numbers stated.

I also know how much it hurt you and others and I bet you Tan is gutted about that. Hence he returned us to blue.

Camarada, an hours converstion and I said seven words.

Now please stop saying I always disagree with you. As seen we agree on loads.

Take care Camarada.

I told you some real stories that went n during the Rebrand and it still hurts thinking about them, prob why I can never move on :bluescarf:

Neil, I think we understand each other :thumbright: :bluescarf: :bluebird:

And I don’t dispute any of them Annis. But, Tan isn’t to blame for the actions of idiots anymore than Sam was.

14k die hards.??...i dont think we had a dozen 14k individual crowds during those 2 decades . we certainly didnt have a season where the average was 14k..or 10k even.
i think this is part of the problem , people remember big end of season crowds during good campaigns and base expectations on them.

I think for most of the time we were messing around in the lower divisions, we probably never had much more than five or six thousand die hards who would turn up however crap we were. Even these figures may be a bit optimistic. I have said previously on this forum that if we were to be relegated, and end up struggling in Div 1 or Div 2 again, we would be back to crowds of 10k or less.

Disapointing it should have been at least 25000 but that said after that performance can't see any of the new fans coming back to watch again any time soon :ayatollah:

What I meant by 14k diehards, was not that we had those kind of average crowds in the 80s, but that, most of that support that we now call diehards, were accumulated from the 80s onwards, from the Eddie May and Rick Wright eras and then became much more regular with the arrival of Sam Hammam.
