Racist

I don't believe that MM was a racist although I do not or would not use that kind of language myself.

I also think it was the wrong time to get rid of MM, he stood a good a chance as anyone in keeping us up apart from Warnock or Pulis.

I do though think that MM the main (not only) perpetrator of spunking away so much money and became quite arrogant with dubious dealings. And honestly despite a few decent performances I didn't like his brand of football.

So while I think some people go OTT in criticising MM, I do feel some people overlook some of MM failures.

The truth is probably, as nearly always, somewhere in the middle.

   Good post and yes you are right about Malky in a football sense. I didn't like his brand of football as Annis will tell you but I do realise with the players we had it was maybe the best option. And yes as all managers some of his signings was well dodgy. But I believe he would of improved the team to play better standard of football. Remembering Man City at home we played out of our skins.
But on a selfish point of view and very controversial one in a way I was glad Malky was sacked because we then went down and then returned to blue. Had Malky stayed and kept us up we would still be red today.

Great point... If we had stayed up we might still be playing in red. So that point alone means I am happy MM went and we went down.

You both speak the truth. Hard for some of us to accept.

Going down was a blessing in disguise for those of us who believe in the traditions of the club. We are still not quite there yet though.

Back to Malky his football was hard to watch. I call it business football and it did its job by getting us to the premier. Unfortunately the friction between him and Tan was where we lost it. It is now very clear we did not have a board capable of sorting the problem out. Malky had to go due to the fallout. The problem was we did not have a board capable of getting the right man in.

You know what, your right in my opinion. Never really looked at it in this way but so glad we are back in blue even though we were relegated! My dream would be to see us in the premier league in blue! We would probably be the first team ever to play in 2 completely different home colours and away colours in the league! But how amazing wud it be if we went up in blue! It would feel like the real Cardiff city are going up! The place would be even better than last time - stadium full of blue! No division amongst fans I. Terms of colour and identity of kit and club! Merchandise sales would soar!!!!!

Better no say too much as the banning wand will come out.

Oh dear Jules. how many teams and managers have spent far far more than malky did and can't even get in the play offs? We all know money isn't everything in this league. Malkys achievments are unquestionable, regardless of whether you dislike him.

Oh excuse me for having an opinion and I didn't know we were talking about other teams/managers.
Hope by working with younger people he will gain some respect back which in all honesty HE blew.
In your obvious wisdom could you show we where the above statement is wrong and also where do I say I dislike the man?
spoke to the man on a few occasions (without being part of any so called select core supporters gang/group) and found him to be a polite approachable man but did DISLIKE what he done. HUGE difference .
