I dont understand how bringing Whittingham on for the last 10 minutes helped. Jones and Whittingham strolling around and 10 others trying. Team played quite well and one shocking decision decided the outcome.

I'm no Slade fan at all, but we really have some crap luck With last minute goals, OG's, and now a penalty. If we manage to sneak in the playoffs it will be a miracle. Also great timing with problems behind the scenes that always helps.

Cardiff City will have left St Andrew's aggrieved after Birmingham came away with all three points following a controversial penalty decision.
James Vaughan's shot struck Matthew Connolly in the face but the referee awarded a spot-kick for handball, which Paul Caddis dispatched.
Sammy Ameobi was left red-faced after missing a glorious opportunity to equalise but pulled his shot well wide of the Birmingham goal before Jonathan Spector struck his own post as Cardiff pushed for a leveller.
Despite Cardiff's best efforts, they struggled to break down the Blues defence but will feel they deserved more from the game.

Thank u to Owain for starting the thread, I gave my honest opinion of how the game went and to tell u the truth we were robbed by a terrible referee decision, this result was nothing to do with Slade but everything to do with the frailtys of the football system

1 dimensional is a great word to describe us. Why didn't Slade at least try to get a point at the end and out 3 upfront ? instead of bringing on Whitts ? because hes a dinosaur that wont change from 4-4-2
Yes the goal was a refs error. Should never have made the call if he didnt see it. But we still wasnt good enough to win the game. Kenwynne was shocking, as was Gunnerson. Malones touch is dreadfull. Think we had 3 shots on goal all night against a very poor Brum side. As for Ameobi ! can we send him back ? This was his big chance and he fluffed it, Changes needed for me starting at the top
