Where is the challenge? :laughing6:

:laughing6:

Its like fighting a chocolate tea pot with a hot iron poker.

Mmm Tea, good Idea

Steve,I've been worried about our debts from day one and I have been going on about it even more since it has increased ten fold under Tan and don't forget his promise 2 years ago.

Apparently the present investment into Cardiff city fc all areas is around 130 million and the app book value would be around
60 million in the stadium and a conservative value of say 30 million for players. (Could be more ) with other related commercial assets to be realised at around to 5 to 10 million. Naming rights , commercial corporate bookings and advertising etc. Hearsay has it we made a profit of 10 million. Assuming these figures are realistic it puts a value on all areas of 105 to 110 million, depends of course how the accounts are concluded to the advantage of the directors for tax purposes, or to the Club/Tan if the club was for sale. If my memory serves me correctly when tan took over we were app 80 million in debt inc Hammans and the taxmans debt, with assets of app. 50million leaving us with an overall deficit of 30 million. Which is almost the same as now. we have neither Hamman, taxman, or any imediate creditors at the moment . Can you please explain to the board how you arrive at the quote.
" tan has increased our debt ten fold". In my book we are in a better position now than at any time since the 50s. EXCEPT FOR THE COLOR THAT IS.

Danny, in my opinion we are def not in a better position regarding finances until Tan changes the debt to equity as promised, just wait for the latest accounts to be revealed, not good showing I have heard.

Not seen the accounts but been told that the year ending 2014 will show a profit of 10 million , l have heard since 62 claims its 12 million?. I agree Annis that D to E will be a position we all want as well as blue. My personal point is besides the color (big bollock)
Were generally in good hands financially, and a lot better than others.

How do you know that the accounts ending 2014 will show a profit of £10m when we are only in the 5th month of 2014?

Also it has been stated numerous times that Tan is putting somewhere between £1m-£3m per month to keep the club afloat.

Didn't Tan say so much in a recent interview with Walesonline ?

Annis, financial years usually run march to April, I presume the club follows the same? If so the books should be in for auditing and will be released once ratified by the board

Nathan
The accounts for April 2013-April 2014 should be being audited this very moment

Tan is still at this very moment putting up to £3 mill a month, which is madness.

The CEO and Chairman have both stated in the last few months that the accounts will show an operating profit of £12 million for 2013-2014, so we shall see how true that is soon enough

If they are telling the truth, then why is Tan stating he is having to pay Millions in to the club monthly to keep us going.

If the club was being run properly then it should show a profit after all the money we have received.

So either the CEO/Chairmanship lying or Tan is?

Neither the CEO/Chairman or Tan are lying, as others have pointed out, Tan has still probably had to put money into the club for day to day running, but this is offset against the promised funds from promotion to the Premiership. The accounts will probably not be made public until they are filed at Companies House which can be as late as March 2015, they may of course submit them early. Keith Morgan (Since 62) stated in January "he expected the club to make a profit of £20m-£30m from its first season in the Premier League, with most of the coming from television rights" So he believes it will be more than £12 Million unless he has been mis-quoted.

That's correct the figure I've had quoted recently is 10 million. Many are missing the point that you have to buy or build a four star hotel to charge four star prices. Similar demands are made by the premier league. Your talking about millions in Stadium updating etc.
Plus the first TV money isn't paid until mid. Nov. With 3 further instalments. I doubt the final instalment has yet been paid.Running a football doesn't come cheap and until last year our club has relied on hand outs, that's a fact we can't avoid.

I think that Swansea had to get a loan of 3 million in their first season to tide them over until first TV payment was paid
