This is probably why this relegation hurts me the least. When we were last relegated (2000 I think) it hurt like hell. Think we lost 4-1 to gillingham on a Tuesday night. I remember being angry etc.

You're also forgetting the fact that Cardiff were the first Welsh Club beginning with "C" to be promoted to the PL, the first Welsh club outside Swansea to be promoted to the PL and the closest Welsh club to the Severn Bridge to be promoted to the PL.
