Scruffy they maybe but I'd like to know how much they make from merchandise compared to us.

What mess is that?? Tan is doing alright apart from not being able to push through the rebrand at a faster rate...getting rid-of the bluebird he couldn't though, so had to scrap that due to an overwhelming backlash to it. The bluebird does not not fit into the brand association, the Dragon takes priority and the bluebird in Tan's eyes just makes the badge messy.

When are people going to get real to the facts. Tan is not interested in the feelings of the fanbase and I thought that was clear to everyone

But Ive said it for nearly 2 Years and I mean every word.

But my once Proud Club has lost everything proud about it. TAN HAS TO GO.

Annis, i am getting closer and closer to the mindset of I WANT US TO GO DOWN

If it means Tan decides to sell and we get our colours and badge back.

I am not quite at that mindset yet but its simmering, I have enjoyed watching PL football, however, Tan and the people he has hired have made such a mess of it, even worse than Derby Countys embarrassing season in the Prem. The cheques he has signed, the poor PR, the crazy rumours and stories from the bowels of CCS you know the ones, It will never stop me going, but I have had a gutsful of the roller coaster.

If we won yesterday would I be saying these things - yes, been feeling them ever since that fateful U-turn morning when I saw Gunnarson wearing the red kit in my inbox.

You're blaming Tan for giving Malky money and trusting him with it?

Agree with every thing Annis HAS said there its hard not to football is all about pride passion belonging and soul .

Tan divided the fans the day he rebranded us and it shows from the players to the fans .

Tan has to be driven out or change us back to move this club forward there is no other way for us other than to unite the club and its fans to move forward Tan should have left it all well alone.

Well seeing as Annis won't answer this and you agree with his every word.

I address this to you...

Annis implies that we are more lucrative now as we have a new stadium and premiership status.

Leeds United are a much bigger club.
Portsmouth were a premiership club for a long time.
Sheffield clubs are massive.

Yet we ridden with debt until it get allegedly converted are more attractive?

There should be a March against Tan that's for sure.
Where is the conversions to equity that he has promised? Red-Premierleauge-loans to equity.
That's how he planned it? Well he has got two out if three.
Let him convert the debt. Then go for his removal.

Any move for his removal before conversion is club suicide.

I will repeat for the second time.

Yes and I said we now have a new stadium,we now have 300,000 0n our fan base, we are now world wide known and we are currently a Premier League club.

Also Tan has now said a few months ago that it will be Feb 2014 he would convert, but this is about the 4th time he has prolonged this.

Tan has made his bed,he can lay in it.
He could've been a messiah but chose to be a tyrant.
Think of what adoration Sam had in his height of power,Tan could've had that times 1000.

But that is his own doing.

I want Tan gone,But not at the sake of our future as a club.

I don't join in the witch hunt against Tan or fans who wear red,so according to many on here that makes me a Tan apologist and a Red lover.

I'm beyond caring anymore, I know what I am and I know what I want.
But I won't put my own wants and needs ahead of what's most important.

I was under the impression that Tan had reached a settlement with Langston on behalf of the club but until he (Tan) converts that debt and the additional enormous debt (much of which he's accumulated) into equity then the club are anything but debt free. Quite the opposite.

The club's last set of published accounts showed the extraordinary debt the club is still in.

As for the club's current ridiculous dragon badge and red identity - it goes far deeper than just the "colour we play in" - they are totally alien to Cardiff City FC. If you feel pride in a bastardised identity foisted on Cardiff City fans with no consultation and in a completely disrespectful way, good luck to you. Most of us will never accept Tan turning our club into a franchise. A franchise with the sole purpose of making money in a different part of the world for a man who really couldn't give two shits about the fans and club.

Afternoon chaps, first post after years of looking in but finally have to put my feelings down in writing if only to agree 100% with Mr Abraham. As always I have read and considered all opinions but in the end it has to come down to one thing and that is how I feel and that first post is how I and no doubt many thousands of others do.
It's sad, but I will attend Tuesday's game and rant and rave and support and shout as I always have, I will Cheer the goals support the players and my young son will do the same. But win lose it draw I will go to bed that night with a hollow feeling that quickly turns to anger. the Cardiff City I loved is dying and at a rate far speedier than I could ever have imagined. I have been on the marches continue to wear blue etc...I must confess to thinking that red would pass and that public opinion would do the job, the badge would revert to our previous version but alas the rebranding of Cardiff city continues at a pace. Annis suggests action and being completely honest with ourselves until Tan leaves ours will remain this plastic franchised version of a club. This will no doubt prompt many to object on the basis that we are where we are because of Tan's money. Maybe maybe not. Just ask how much money you yourself have out into CCFC over the years ? Relative to wealth and income I imagine it amounts to more than Mr Tan and you have no cash return for your input. I will not belittle the gate money shirt sales etc I have put in over the years by saying that without Tan we would be nothing. I and many of you will have put in far more.
When Tan created Cardiff Red he made something for the armchair welsh football fan that he or she could buy into without fear of it having to be linked with the many past failures, the unsavoury hooligan past, that general fear factor that those who had not attended games up to then might have had. I will guess that for two thirds if our support we are a second team, I firmly believe that but it is ok to support Cardiff because they are our welsh premier team, they even have the dragon and the red to show this. This is easy to sell and buy into but for those of us who believe in what was there before we are left with the choice to join in or get out. You have the choice some say, but I have put the years in only for someone to hijack my club shit all over the one I fell in love with and now, now with the world looking in show Cardiff City Football Club in the worst possible light. Plastic club, fickle fans etc is how the outside world see us and this does not shame some people. As long as we are in the prem I suppose it's ok ? It really isn't. People say that to believe that relegation and the subsequent disappearance of much of our current fan base, the potential withdrawal of Tan and his millions that would follow etc to be a good thing is dewy eyed rose tinted sentimental nonsense. It's not. I would swap league position for sense of pride every single time . I believe in Cardiff city, to me it is/was a badge of honour and I want it back so badly. Equally, I want every new fan who comes on board to buy into the same club as me, the one that has always been there. I'm a reasonable man but I cannot help but think that to feel any other way means you just do not understand Catdiff City as I do. Not to say your Cardiff is worse, just different . Maybe it's a generation thing, without wanting to be patronising, but then a lot of the pro blue boys I have seen on the marches etc are half my age ?
Cardiff 2014 is cheap and nasty, souless, convenient, temporary, desperate, ugly and tries too hard and my god does it fail. It's puts out the welcome mat for even the most unimaginitive piss taker and acts as an example to every visiting fan that you really do need to be careful of what you wish for. When I look at the away section at the CCS I envy every fan who knows who their club is.
I offer no solutions or explanation for my thoughts, this is simply how I feel.
Please do not feel that you need to undermine my thoughts and feelings with the same old crap about why I didn't do more because I have done what is within my power to do. As has my 10 year old son. I know how others feel, my god it's posted here often enough. I just want to put my feelings on record because inside it's killing me and I need a record/ outlet.

Re: " WE NEED OUR CLUB BACK "

Mon Feb 10, 2014 12:30 am

Enough of the debates. What we need now is action.

Protests or maybe even boycotts. If the reds want to take the piss and carry on supporting the club then so be it, we all know what group of fans will be watching the club if we get relegated to league 2.

The last two years has seen our club slowly turn from one fiasco to another.

Roll up, roll, to the Vincent Tans Cardiff City circus,,,,where there's no end of a good laugh.

Serious though, new season ticket reminders have been sent out, you have until the 28th of this month to secure your current seat.

Many i know will not be renewing, even if we stay in the Premier League.

Re: " WE NEED OUR CLUB BACK "

Only a couple of months left of what has been the most disruptive season I can remember, and I go back a long way and was a regular at Ninian Park in the late 60's. I prefer blue like most of us, but respect the right of supporters to wear red if they choose to, and I will support the club whatever colour they wear.
Between now and the end of the season, we need to put our differences aside, and get behind the players. They didn't choose the shirt colours, the club owner or the manager. We have to accept that for what's left of the season Tan will own the club, OGS will be the manager and Malky is no longer part of Cardiff City. I think we've got enough problems on the pitch without arguing about what's going on off it.
The time to try and change things will be either at the end of the season, or if and when relegation is confirmed. I still think the club can stay up, and the supporters can play a part by creating the sort of intimidating atmosphere we used to have across the road, and encouraging players even if they are having a hard time. Only players who are not giving 100% deserve a bit of stick, as long as they are trying we shouldn't be knocking their confidence by giving out abuse. Save that for the opposition. Right now we all need to stick together, and postpone the anti Tan and the bring back blue demonstrations for a few weeks.
