There's a lot of truth in this. In 2006/07, the season Whitts joined, we averaged 15000. We now get 27000 so at least 12000 weren't around when he came.

I remember the team and individual players getting booed in the 80s and 90s but they would be awful players and certainly not club legends. There's less loyalty among fans now. Treat fans like customers and that's what they become.

When we can't keep possession some of the fans jeer and boo but when we do keep hold of the possession the crowd still jeer and boo on times, you can't win.

Barcelona and Bayern and Man City keep possession for long periods of time and most times don't do barely nothing with it but are always patient and happy to maintain the possession to ware the opposition down which we try to do.
