That's an assumption. You "stated" it.![]()
It's okay though. You call fans scum for not agreeing with the rebrand.. The very same rebrand you formed a protest group against.

Of course, you think anyone that says anything in any sense of support of Tan or tries to see things from his point of view supports him and should be shot down. I actually pity you. You're going to live your life as a pathetic man crying over a colour because of the owner of your club. Enjoy your life sad act.

most people who invest in football clubs are fans of that club and never make a penny.Quite different from any other business.
depends if the company is floated or not
Doesn't make a flying dot if they floated or not
A share is a share.
The worth comes from the value.
Ratners were on the stock market
You wouldn't have heard of them nipper - they went tits up after a tad of rebranding !

I disagree and also back up my opinion with a press release statement from the time of the rebrand, which alludes to the reasoning. This is in line with my opinion.
Neither of us can say for sure, but at least my view has some sort of evidence to validate it.
As you said, you can get Asian support without having to have a new brand, which ruins your own theory. As does Manchester city's surge in popularity in Asia.
They wear blue too!shocking.

No. Neither do you. Again, its your opinion vs mine. Do you have any proof Ki was the only driving force in your sales and popularity? No you don't. Some financial figures would be nice. A survey of Koreans would also be nice. Nothing to do with your success in the cup of course or the fact you're in Europe or the fact you've been built up by the media globally to be some role model club that came from the depths of the English pyramid to the top. Of course it didn't. EVERY SINGLE PERSON WHO BOUGHT A SWANSEA SHIRT IN KOREA DID SO BECAUSE OF KI AND ONLY KI. Laughable. You cant prove it and I cant prove otherwise. Its a clash of opinions so we'll agree to disagree.

As far as proof a) we are no longer posting hundreds of shirts a week to korea b) the number of korean posters has fallen to zero on ps c) the articles in korean press seemed to have dried up d) they said themselves they werent Swansea fans they were ki fans. Have I got actual figutes no but honestly the difference this year to last has been drastic. As I said nobody in korea gave a fcuk about scfc unless ki was there. The culture there is to follow players not clubs. He was like a pop star.

One minute you say he's a lunatic who rebranded the club and should not be trusted.
The next you believe his statements and use them as evidence so you obviously trust what he has to say.

Yep, an associate of VT & business partner would know more than someone on a message board who doesn't even go to games. Especially when it's in an official club statement.a spokesman on behalf of VT is bound to know more than someone on an Internet forum who doesn't even know his own opinion half the time, never mind that of anyone else.
Well, you aren't going to.
