You say he's wasted money the only player we've wasted money on is Brayford. You can't say Cornelius is wasted money yet as hes only just coming back from a long term injury! people writing him off within 4 months of being a cardiff player! People where saying the same about kimbo and mutch not to long ago! What other players have been wasted? Velekonja was signed by tan so you can't even mention him! He's got us promoted ,to a league cup final and were now 14/15th in the premier league how is that not using the money well? I've seen money thrown at managers for years in the championship and its not always that easy to get promoted even with money! What do people want? champions league football?

We are nearly half way through our first prem season and he has not made 1 start. He is indeed a waste of money. Even west hams owner has said he would of not wasted money on Carroll if he new his injury would drag put this long.

Malkey is a Football Manager and a good one , he never professed to be a clairvoyant how the hell did he know Cornelius was going to get a nasty injury. Get real or dont bother.

Malky played with fire with his interview, he knew exactly what he was doing, and now he is going to get his fingers burnt.

My problem here annis is if all the quotes in the last few days are true then Malky has put himself in a corner of his own making.
If Cornelius was bought for the future then you can understand tans fury as our 4 strikers to keep us in the premier league were Frazier Maynard gestede and mason. Two have gone on loan and if Frazier goes through his usual injury problems we are left with just Maynard.
Malky then says in the press he needs a striker having paid 8.5 million on a player not ready for the first team yet. Whichever way you look at it Malky has put himself in a no win situation here.

Totally agree with you

Steve, but you know as well as I do Tan is pushing and pushing for Malky to go and putting pressure on him all the time, its hard enough just being a manager in the Prem, never mind having a Dictator behind u and wants u gone.

Annis you didn't answer steves point which from what I see is correct? Tan does want malky out but he's not exactly helping his cause.

Allan, Malky is speaking out so we can all start hearing/seeing the truth, thats the answer

Well we can all see £10m spent on 2 players who don't have 1 starting appearance between them this season.

I'd like to know what happened on those deals.

Malky has done fantastic things for the football club, but for the sake of both Malky and the club its time he moves on.

You cannot run a successful Premier League club where the manager and owner don't talk to each other, and play out their vicious spat in the media.

Tan is playing games, Malky is playing games. Tan has behaved disgracefully, Malky is responsible for some seriously below average buys.

Tan and Malky need to thrash out a settlement immediately, and both parties need to go their separate ways. Otherwise both are doomed.

I thought maybe there would be limited funds in January, but the way all this has come out is a real pisser. Just when Malky and Tan seemed to be getting along better, and after a great win. All this 'he said she said' bullshit all over the back pages isn't going to help anyone, least of all the team.

I'm one of these enlightened people who doesn't jump to conclusions or let bias guide their judgement. I'm not sure the same can be said of many others, when it comes to Vincent Tan.

The guy clearly sees Cardiff City as a business, not as a football club, that can't be disputed and I wouldn't even try to. Was it right he came out with these comments? Not in the slightest, but he's outright stated now why Moody was fired - if he did that, and was lying, he'd be leaving himself open to a lawsuit from Moody's camp. Considering this is the same man who seemingly doesn't want to just pay the couple million it would cost to dismiss Malky, I can't see him going public with a lie that could also cost him money in damages if deemed to be incorrect.

No, I don't want to believe every word out of his mouth, but that doesn't mean I'll just jump to conclusions about him and other situations just because it suits a purpose to do so. Malky has not been an angel in all of this, and clearly is trying to boost his stock as a PL manager, but at the same time he's clearly been focused on his job at hand which is managing the team - I can't question that.

At this point though, Tan is not going anywhere, but one of them clearly needs to. That person has to be Malky, even though it scares the shit out of me thinking who we could end up with instead.
