Big 20 minutes needed or I think Malky will lose his job.

if I don't laugh I will cry. Chasing the game with 1 player up front

This is sickening to watch. Tactically inept by the manager so fecking negative and you can see the players don't like playing this way, their heads have dropped. This is the Premier League hoof ball doesn't work unless you have a target man. Only 6 wins in the last 27 games not including this one. Those stats don't lie. Time for the axe to fall

Declan John has been out best player.

Palace are winning everything in the air, winning the 50:50 balls on the ground, passing is sharper and they just seem to want to win it more than we do. To be honest they deserve to be 2-0 up, our players need a good kick up the arse. It sort of said it all when Campbell went pass Gabbidon and within a few strides Gabbidon had caught up and got the ball back. No passion today.

I hope the subs can deliver something positive. In reality I think Malky has put himself in the departure lounge.
Come on City!

Is it just me, or has nobody sung "Dont sack Mackay" today?

He doesn't deserve it with tactics like this

Everyone knows my position on Malky, however I do agree his tactics havent worked,
BUT
only 2 players have turned up for us today,
and Palace have been very good, they would've beaten many a team on todays home performance, bad time for us to play them

I'm usually behind Malky, but not with tactics like this against a team in the bottom 3. No way.

They haven't turned up because they must be sick of parking on the edge of their own area. They are football players and have not been given the licence to play football

Stanb have to agree.players lacking the usual grit.palace seem more up for it,players look totally uncomfortable and shit scared to do anything other than what malky says!! I like Malky a lot, but even I after today wonder if he has what it takes to be a prem manager( yet).absolute dross today!!

I'm still behind Malky, but I do agree, he got the tactics wrong today.

We are second best all over the park today against a team that will be relegated, players have disapeared the more we play with 1 up front the worst we look. Taking off a striker when 2 down is not the way to get back into a game. Going to be differcult to stay up playing with these tactics.
Sat Dec 07, 2013 4:50 pm
stoke and Norwich both winning today too, a bad day for us today

I've seen nothing from this team this week that tells me Malky can keep them up. Every team around us has changed manager, and are going to get a real boost from that soon. Us? We're trudging along, never trying to win, just trying not to lose. Doesn't work in the Championship. And f**k this hoof ball to the sole striker constantly, poor Campbell can't do f**k all with that.
Like for like substitutions, never changing the tactics. Stoke took the piss in that regard, and even today I felt the substitutions were just fixing errors Malky made with his team selection, and it's not the first time that has happened this season either.
I don't like turning on the manager, but in truth, Malky has taken us as he can. He's approached this season all wrong, and I have no doubt that he will get us relegated. Manager loyalty only goes so far, and if it's a choice between Malky or Premiership survival, I choose survival every time. Some people are giving Malky a free pass because of their dislike for Tan - f**k that. If Tan ditches Malky on Monday (and this is the BEST time we've got to change manager to be honest), it will be completely justified considering performances and results.
From the look on the faces of the players after that, I think there's gonna be some tension in that changing room right now.

Have to agree,as much as I like malky, and will never forget where he got us.Today was woeful,by far the poorest display.Players looked tired and bereft of thinking outside of "the plan" of malkys playing not to get beaten. If he is going to go it has to be sooner rather than later.1 win in 9 is not cutting it!!
Sat Dec 07, 2013 5:35 pm
never been a fan of mm. he has overstayed his welcome. i tend to the view that we got promoted in spite of him and not because of him. should have left before the new season started
