My Thoughts on BU March

Chuckles in his defence has gone onto BU site and qualified why hes made this thread.

polo he's just grovelling that's all to cover his back,he's probably the biggest troll on here who's upset countless posters and ruined countless threads.

Its a shame he wasnt more like that on the forum instead of being so condesending.

Maybe I'm a bit older than chuckles and a bit more worldly wise, but when I questioned the disruptive and ungrateful tag line from BU he was all over me like a rash with responses that of course included lots of smiley's, he's been on ignore since then, maybe a lesson learned.

I haven't grovelled at all - I'm justifying my remarks on here & giving my point of view - which is exactly the same as I have posted on here.

I won't let anyone. In fairness, I think the main core of BU are intent on doing a good job. It's more of the extreme element that are spoiling it.

If the march went well or not, Chuckles deserves a lot of respect for this thread.

No-one has really gone into detail about these marches from start to finish of what they do etc.

I'd love to say that it did, but in my eyes - it didn't. I've given my opinions to BU too & I believe that there will be changes made soon. Let's hope that they are for the better, because at the moment - I see no future for BU in its current state, sadly.

Erm... What? He's called James C on here and posts quite frequently. I've never met the lad in person, but he seems a tidy fella.

I know Alfie said that. Funnily enough, I spoke with him & his son prior to the march. He's a very nice chap. Doesn't mean that it didn't happen. I didn't see the can thrown at a minibus, doesn't mean that it didn't happen.

I haven't called BU racist at all - please stop making things hp. A small minority were singing distasteful songs which could easily be construed as racist. (That's certainly how I read it)

These songs are not the sort of songs that ANY protest group should associate themselves with.

There were no racist comments. If there were then the rest of the group wouldn't have joined in and would of frowned at them just like the people who aren't following BU would have done.

There was "We're Welsh, not Malaysian" but that isn't racist in the slightest, seems like people chanting an obvious statement really.

There were 2 asian people walking by me and there were 3 Malaysian people up at the castle who asked to pose with some randomer who had a 'Tan Out' banner... BU aren't the KKK for god sake, it is open to people of all races/backgrounds...
