388 divide by 2 = 194

He has a ratio of 1 goal every 2 games and 14 minutes. More than an acceptable return.

He is going to be great for you then. :D
Can you now tell me what teams the 388 minutes are against please ? (obviously a breakdown of every minute against each team would be good) Cheers.

Certainly not a bad sign is it, which is the point.

Yes I can give you a breakdown but I cant really be bothered since ive just gone to the effort of adding it up for you. You can do it however.

Still spinning the 2 in 4 eh

Happy to count the goal he scored when he come on as a sub but not counting the game?

To be precise hes scored 1 in 4 PL starts, or 2 in 7 including sub appearances.

A late consolation after the game was well and truly over in the home thumping against Man U, and a freebie penalty against the worst team in the league.

Hardly setting the world alight.

388 minutes of football with 2 goals is a goal every 2 games and 14 minutes.

There is nothing to spin.

Nice to know im off ignore for the 4th time in as many days. You still havent answered why you lied about Canas being 4th choice captain at Betis. Im sure there is a logical explanation and you werent taking extreme measures to defend your big money signing whi isnt setting the world alight.... :laughing6:

Not sure what people were expecting really, top goalscorer in the league?

His strike rate is very good.

As for the other aspects of his game, hes a handful as he showed at the Mestalla. The Premier league is a faster league and as soon as he gets up to speed with it then im sure he will be even better. However for a striker his main job is to score goals which he is doing.

I said he was 3rd captain and its something I become aware of talking to some Spanish lads in a tapas bar in Mijas, Costa Del Sol.

Now resorting to minutes on the pitch after his 2 in 4 starts was rumbled

Back on ignore.

Two lies in one thread. Thats impressive even for you.

Nothing has been rumbled. It is a FACT hes scored 2 in 4 Prem starts. If you want to include all matches he made an appearance then its A FACT hes played 388 min of football in total which still averages him around a goal every 2 games. Which ever way you look at it you are wrong.... Again.

Bye Mario Liartelli cant wait for me "to be off ignore" soon

As you were.

Wouldnt say wank but certainly looking over priced. Only managed 1 goal, a penalty, from the 4 PL games hes started this season.

The PL is where he needs to be doing it for you. A club like yours, europe is just a bonus but its no good if he aint doing it in the league.

How many minutes of PL football has he played?

Minutes is irrelvant you dont win prizes or points for goals to minute ratios.

Hes scored 2 in 7 premier league appearances.

388 wasnt it?

Roughly 1 goal in every 2 games is very good indeed.

What a strange and bizarre comparison.. You know full well it's not Medel's job to score goals...

He does have the same number of goals as Campbell though... Who cost us nearly 26 times less. :laughing6:

Logic seems to have gone out the window in this thread chucks, im joining in with the fun.

It is medels job to keep possession and break up opponents play though, something that Canas is doing better... Who we picked up for a trillion and more times less being free and all.

Using the minutes on pitch per goal ratio than by my calculations Swanseas current top scorer this season is Phil Bardsley :?

So in the league its a goal every 388 minutes. Thats pretty sh1t for such a big amount of money, especially with the jacks ethos about being clever with their cash.

2 goals mate, 2.

1 every 194 or 1 in every 2 games and 14 minutes. :thumbright:

What, you tried to compare a DM with a ST :?

Campbell was cheaper and just as effective so far in the league.

He hit the nail on the head.

Re: Wilfred bony

Fri Oct 25, 2013 9:13 am

1 in 3.5 games. Average. Expected better from him, especially considering his overall contribution on the pitch is pretty ineffective.

30 games left with that average he might just scrape into double figures.

I was alluding to the nonsense spouted in this thread to put Bony down. "It doesnt matter how many minutes on the pitch"

I was also alluding to the fact that Medel hasnt been very good either and is lagging behind Canas who we picked up for free.

We didnt buy a striker just for the league. Bony has scored 1 in 1 in the cup, 4 in 5 in Europe and 2 in 4 starts in the Prem. thats excellent

I like that when it comes to the prem, the stats aren't as good, so we rely on starts rather than the fact that he's featured in 7 games & only scored 2.

Also he only scored 1 goal in the 4 starts, the other goal was as a sub :thumbright:
