Malky will also be feeling the pressure more than ever now which can't be good.....

why the f@ck do you care so much about what happened to moody, the club haven't got to explain every coming and going regarding staff. These things happen in football, get over it.

Moody was one of Malky's right hand men and helped Malky with some fantastic signings, personally I don't see him leaving as great news. It's more what else went on that concerns me, there have been some postings concerning Malkys treatment and comments from his agent, I just hope it doesn't affect Malky too much on the field. As I said some positives also though :ayatollah:
most of the posts were from so called people itk that had no facts just the normal i got it off a source from the club  the media got on to it and made a mountain out of a mole hill than back tracked
The only reason the press have no story now Wez is because moody has been paid off with a confidentiality clause attached.
There is no doubt that there is a face saving initiative being run by the club to cover tans backside.
With regards to the board meeting steve has been holding the safety certificate from the start of the season and has been instrumental in the stadium expansion from day one so they were just endorsing what has been going on for weeks.
Which ever way you dress it up between the press and malkys agent it was obvious to them that the removal of moody was an attempt to push Malky out of the club but the fact that moody was found to be blameless complicated things.
Did you notice in the statement that there was no further mention of the painter and his role at the club in looking for players.
I believe over the next few months him and lim will disappear quietly from the club with little fuss so this weeks public embarrassment of our club in the national press will fade from people's memories.
It's a shame the Malaysian culture is all about not losing face because I'm sure people would have felt a lot better about tan if he had been able to come out and hold his hands up over the mis handling of the moody affair

No I didnt feel lied to. What he said they were spending the money on had no bearing on me purchasing the season ticket early. I did that purely for the price freeze. By attending during the Ridsdale days, in some way I did endorse his regime as I was handing over my money to him. Just as you are withTan during this regime.

Some pretty diverse posts on this thread tonight, which highlights the negatives of the divisions caused by so much mis-information and mischief by some who simply haven't really got a clue and yet are happy to believe any negative piece of information that is drip-fed to them from certain sources...

Once again, whilst 'something' has obviously gone on at our beloved club over the last few days/weeks, I honestly believe we (the fans of Cardiff City FC) have been 'played' by the media once again

Only my personal opinion, but I think this is avery positive statement regarding the club and its future management (which thankfully appears to include Malky :ayatollah: ) and should be taken on face value until proven otherwise. Indeed, it would appear that the debt-to-equity promise may well be realised; we just have to be patient whilst the mechanisms of (a) obtaining the remaining shares, and (b) sorting out the legalities, are put into place...and that may take a little patience from us ;)

In the meantime, I am sure our usual 'sources' such a Annis, Carl, City Gent et al, will get to the FACTUAL bottom of all this in good time and I am sure we will be updated as and when factual news is available

In the meantime, it appears the storm is over (for now at least) and we have a more pressing problem ahead in the next few days, i.e. Jose Mourhino and his Chelski team!

THE FOOTBALL IS BACK; C'MON YOU BLUEBIRDS!! :ayatollah: :malky: :ayatollah: :malky: :ayatollah:

Barry, it appears Tan has certainly 'messed up' somewhere along the line (likely with communication) I think there are one or two who have at least 'some' knowledge of what goes on but are 'careful' with how they use it theses days. However, on the whole I agree that the club keep things very tight these days and that this will likely increase as the 'old school' are bought out and replaced/removed ;)

IMHO that would be a shame in many ways, as whether we like to admit or not, we ALL like to get the low-down' on inside dealings at the club!

Steve Davies (above) alludes to certain creditable likely happenings and it is difficult not to agree with him :ayatollah:

I believe tan took poor advice about Malky and was particularly let down by lim. I do believe that moody was the pawn to remove Malky until the truth came out regarding moody.
At the end of the day in time you will find the overspend was untrue and regardless moody could not of authorised the deals and payments without lims say so

It's a shame the Malaysian culture is all about not losing face because I'm sure people would have felt a lot better about tan if he had been able to come out and hold his hands up over the mis handling of the moody affair Quote

Sadly spot on Steve and correct, a few people need to open their eyes. The truth always coms out in the end

So who was trying to find an excuse to oust Malky-Tan or Lim?
Pretty key question.
Do either of you know the answer?

Why would Tan need an excuse if he really wanted things to change? He could surely just do a Southampton

I believe tan took poor advice about Malky and was particularly let down by lim. I do believe that moody was the pawn to remove Malky until the truth came out regarding moody.

I've seen a lot of see you next tuesdays in business and it looks like we have one here.
Can't see him staying for long in the circumstances.
Perhaps Mr Tan has learned a lesson and he will be a little less cavalier and trust Malky a little more in future. In any event Malky has some insurance by his board meeting slot.He must also have his direct chats.
The fact Tan didn't do a Southampton perhaps indicates he was torn as it was my belief that Malky's transfer dealings and general approach had established a level of trust. He is obviously very nervous about his investment and who could blame him.
When all is said and done Malky's job is dependent on our PL prospects this season and he must know it.
He'll want to get some serious points on the board by January.
