You looked genuinely poor against Hull, no question this competition is taking its toll. Hope you go all the way :malky: :ayatollah:

Think the problem is the levels of inconsistency. Against hull, west ham, you lot and a couple of others we have been awful yet against Liverpool, Newcastle, Sunderland, west brom and a few others we played some real quality stuff. That's the frustrating yhing about us this season.

Apart form Arsenal, the whole league is inconsistent but it isn't going to help you find form being in the later stages of Europa League. Its a graveyard for the premiership teams with smaller squads.

What do you mean it wont help our form being in europe? European qualification is what teams in themiddle band of the league aspire to, its what the league form works towards....

With some people its almost like "we need to get knocked out of europe because we will never qualify for europe at this rate".

Top 10, last 32 of european competition earned by locking away some major silverware - life is good, couple of crap performances or not - its worth it.
