As there is no official start date on the official club website, only a mention that they were already in blue around the time of Ninian Park, I'm happy to believe this normally accurate source. :D

You are on ignore, but you can select to see posts if you wish & I was witness to one of your posts within another quote.

Chuckle I read your posts in total bewilderment  honestly the phrase "making it up as you go along" doesn't do you justice; but of course you won't get to see this post or reply to it as both me and Castle or on ignore, right? ;)

Didn't answer the question Barry were Cardiff City wearing Blue shirts whilst playing in the South Wales Amatuer League during seasons 1908/09 and 1090/10. :? I don't think so.

Very quick as usual Barry to jump on what others post but my books on the official history of our club say that Cardiff City wore Blue shirts, for the first time, during the friendly against Aston Villa on September 1st 1910, a game arranged to celebrate the opening of Ninian Park.

This is the first record instance of the club playing in blue and as such is rightly considered to be the time of the colour change from Riverside to what was to be our Home colours for just over 100 years.

Nothing "Circa" about that Barry so on this occasion I don't think I was wrong.
