Do you yet know why he was involved in the game last night, when he is involved in transfer negotiations with us.?
Based on what we read or have heard,He met CCFC officials on Friday in a French Hotel to discuss terms. Then someone yesterday suggested that the player and his agent never attended the meeting. Then A Tweet emerges from a French Radio network suggesting That Cardiff had Signed him for £10+£2m.The Welsh Media are leading with reports that Cardiff stand on the verge of breaking their record again.
What we Do Know!!, Etienne Capoue was named on a bench for a friendly last night,The Manager played him and he scored and assisted another goal. Now why would the chairman or manager allow a player to take part in a semi competetive match when he is supposedly on the verge of a MultiMillion pound transfer away? Unless they already know the player has rejected Cardiff Advances. Then there is no immediate risk .

I tend to agree with this. If they thought he was coming here no way would they risk an £8m
deal for the sake of a friendly. hes not coming.

Questioned by the British press, Malky Mackay, Cardiff City coach, made a point about Etienne Capoue folder: "We have agreed with Toulouse (note: transfer of 10 million and 2 million bonus). Next we had a conversation with Ettiene and his advisers. They were professionals. This is quite tricky at the moment. we are still negotiating. "
Indeed, Capoue prefer to join Atletico Madrid. But for the moment, the supply of Spanish is too low for the TFC (7 million euros). The situation could settle in midweek: either Colchoneros increase their proposal either Capua leave for Cardiff.

I'm sure I read an article where Atletico definitely pulled out. Mercato are wrong compared to reliable 'L'Equipe'

Only Fiorentina and Napoli left then and none have made a bid according to the press, only we have. Let's hope it stays the same and the signing is completed as it would show some real intentions

Im not being negative when i mention him playing in that friendly mate. i just find it hard to
believe Toulouse would take an £8m+ risk on a player when its so easy to turn an ankle or
tear a hamstring, not in a friendly anyway. Im just trying to keep a lid on my own emotions.
He's a long way from signing on the dotted line right now but I think the Club are absolutely
right to aim high and i hope we carry on doing so
