Just looking for excuses to have a go at BU as they know it's getting stronger and stronger

Yep

As I have finished reading this entertaining thread, could you explain your answer with out being blunt?

I don't want to come across as saying anyone should support anything as that is their prerogative....I just find it a little bit sad that grown men and women are arguing and insulting each other over a football team. More importantly than that....a football team that we all here support! Those who what blue back, yes I want it back. Why are you taking it out on those fans who would like to be in blue (because we all do) but are accepting of what a change has brought us. But then also, the fans that are accepting of the colour change and then take it out on the fans fighting for blue.
We are all here because of one thing. Cardiff City football club, a team that many here have seen the down right lows, and now the highs of our football club...remember that. It's OUR football club! owners, managers and players will come and go. Fans....well they may also come and go, but there will also be those who support the team, support the name. So why can't we stand together and support OUR team! OUR name now! CARDIFF CITY!
In a few weeks time we will be welcoming the best teams in OUR football league to OUR ground! Lets let them know who they are playing against! Let them Know that they are playing Cardiff City, with ever throw in that they might get, every corner kick. You know...a gentle reminder, just like that guy who will always try to put a goal keeper off his kick even though he is sat on the half way line. But lets cheer on OUR players! OUR team!

Sorry Chief but how can that be true ? Even if you are pro red or pro blue the only person that has divided us is Vincent Tan surely. Because without the re brand there would be no split and that is the truth.

A certain someone who allegedly turned up to a meeting and threatened people didn't help.

Incorrect. Only one person divided the fans & that's Tan.

I have heard that rumour as well, but who actually made threats and what were they. I did witness Macca saying that he wouldn't stand by and watch people disrupt the game by throwing smoke bombs on the pitch etc. and when questionbed how he would stop it, he replied he would bury them.

But unless you had intention to do such a thing, I can't see anyone taking it as a threat other than the clown who bought twenty blue smoke bombs for such an event and then bragged about it on facebook, I believe he's sold his support now to the highest bidder, allegedly.

You wouldn't stop supporting Cardiff City because a Cardiff fan murdered someone.

so do you think its a stupid comment?

Yes, death isn't something to joke about

YOU mentioned death, JonCCFC. I don't see it mentioned until YOU came on and ruined yet another thread with your childish antics and responses

Of course, you will now say I'm picking on you or I'm a prick or I don't know what I'm talking about or I'm a Primary School teacher or you don't like my style of writing, etc.

It couldn't possibly be that I just think you are one of the worst posters on this site or that you are so easily caught out by an increasing number of people, eh?

Anything rather than considered debate, JonCCFC and that is the the domain of an ignorant young man ;)

 Only just came across this, what a surprise, it's Sven. :laughing6:

Yes, I mentioned death as a random example. I wasn't making a joke so I don't get what your point is. How the hell am I being childish? I'm simply defending BU as others are abusing the group for the actions of one person, you really are clutching at straws and looking for any old excuse to have a go, which is truly pathetic for a man of your age.

Grow up.

EXACTLY the kind of response I predicted from you, Speedy (that's an irony, of course ;) )

You really ned to read your own messages back, as well as the responses you get from others and remember this:

When someone (maybe even me) says you are a childish, immature arse with no real understanding of the debates you seem intent on spoiling in an attempt to drag the so-called 'rebrand' into every thread, then you are entitled to convince yourself that it's a 'one-off' so you don't need to heed the words of one guy's personal opinion

However, when many people say the same thing to you, just maybe it's time to start listening ;)

You certainly did mention death BEFORE anyone else did and then proceeded to turn it into an issue for your own ends. That is only to be expected from you these days and I still await a response (from you to anyone) that deals directly with the issue being debated that doesn't involve (a) an indecipherable one word answer, or (b) personal profanity, or (c) anti-rebrand rhetoric, or (d) how much you hate Tan for investing £80m+ plus, putting us in The Premier League and resolving the Langston debt (how dare he, eh?), or how changing the badge but not the colour is (quote "OK") in your eyes, or (e) how EVERYONE who has an opinion that differ to yours is (again quote: "either ignorant, a prick, in denial, a non-supporter, etc.")

Shall I go on?

But of course, I forget, you are ALWAYS right and you NEVER give in

Admirable traits indeed and sometimes the confidence of youth can only be admired...but only when you have GENUINE principles or substance to back yourself up     ;)

The ONLY reason you call me "childish" etc is because you can't handle my opinion. And you KNOW it.

Sven, you're forever clutching at straws. I think you should start listening to your own advice because you're making yourself look like a hypocrite.

Gwyn is right. Nobody threatened anyone. If someone was threatened they'd have reported it to the police there and then. I haven't heard of any reports or official complaints so therefore to my knowledge in the official capacity the alleged incident did not take place.

No. If it did I ask you in front of the jury to present evidence including time and date of the alleged offence, the participants involved including the aforementioned person who was alleged to have made said threat and also 2 or more witnesses to back up your version of events.

If you cannot do that then unfortunately it's obvious the event did not take place. Case dismissed.
