I signed the petition and wear blue to home games but I put the wellbeing of CCFC before any personal preferences. Not only that I signed the petition in good faith only to find that BU were using it as justification to hold a march against VT :o I never signed up to any such thing, I simply signed a petition asking for a return to blue.

I'll tell you now I'll NEVER do anything again to support BU simply because I can't trust them to be honest again. They have completely lost the plot and if you really think any different then go back through this thread and see how many posts there are against the way they are behaving.

There are no marches planned against tan...we will be around for as long as it takes for someone to see who Ccfc are and how you can identify a Ccfc fan..Sian is a great leader and I'm proud of everything she has done and for one am right behind her..all groups say the wrong things from time to time, whether it be goverment ,charities or owners of football clubs(who have been media trained by the way)...bu is a great group of youth, old, families and people all with the same thought Cardiff is blue and should stay that way.. I've been all over the country and people come up to me see my blue shirt and badge and go oh Cardiff city fan...that's gone it's said now with a chuckle and maybe a wise crack..the bouncy castles and fun days are so we can show our kids what Ccfc should be all about and what we grew up with..Kcb were threatened with violence now bu members are being spat at and abused for collecting signatures and you all moan because Sian said a little something out of context...we've been stood together for years on the terraces all in blue..now we're divided and the club don't look the same...I for one am disheartened and I'm sure Sian feels the same as do all of bu...that's why we're here and trying our best...we will stay united red ,blue, prem or division two...some wont ,but you know inside yourself in that blue blood running through your veins who you are...as my brick says bluebird till I die and we should all know what that means.

There is no way on earth people have been spat at and abused for collecting signatures.

Agreed with the effort of sian amd others and its hard to police and she will make mistakes, said that on here plenty now but you only have to see stuff posted on Facebook about tan by bu members and stuff posted and left on the group (only removed after there have probably been negative comments about the abuse) people calling people who still support the club "not real fans" because they don't follow bu..there is no care for others opinions and desire to still support the club just abuse for thinking different to bu.

I won't support it now, did at first but just cannot after what has been put on that page.

I totally agree.

I was called Tan's bum boy, Borleys kiss ass.. And don't forget 'Vermin' by so called BU members.

From a family of decades of historic support and a season ticket holder of 16 years, I found it disgraceful.

I support CCFC, good times or bad times, red or blue, CCFC is in my heart and yet some fans choose to spoil it for everyone.

He did indeed.

Making all the wrong noises and then wondering why they get a negative response, feel sad about it tbh cos it could of been so much better and did some good. Sadly now I think those unsure of bu wont be joining, and that's a shame as it started off so well and you can tell a lot of hard work has gone in to it.

Believe me mate it happened and its common assault in my eyes and disgusting...we are a group of 3000 members there is bound to be a couple of people who can't control their tounge... You can't ridicule a whole group for the actions of some.

I have not and wont ridicule the whole group as you have wrongly just said, i like the idea of bu and if you read my posts im not slagging them off and ive stuck up for sian anfd whoever else is involved on here on this thread, just my personal choice now not to follow bu, and yes sadly that is down to the idiots.

And if that is true about the spitting then that is shocking and disgusting .

Don't be so pathetic mate, how can you claim Sian & BU are damaged goods?
With a username like "RedOrDead" you were never going to be one to follow Sian or BU...

Sian made a mistake, passion got on top of her for one silly post which she has now understood and corrected.
What she said was taken out of context. She constantly claims that she isn't against Modern Football, Tan or fans who wear red. She is against the rebrand. How can you not expect her to get frustrated that there are fans out there who don't feel as passionate as herself or the BU followers regarding the identity of Cardiff City Bluebirds?

I admit, as a follower of BU - her comment regarding fans wearing red aren't true fans was incorrect. She is the BU leader and if I thought that Bluebirds Unite wasn't in this for the good of the fans of Cardiff City then I wouldn't spend the majority of my spare time canvassing for the return to blue. I am blue through and through and none of us will EVER stop until we regain our identity and our numbers can only grow and fans get more and more frustrated at the rebrand...

Keep this in mind ok... Tan has promised us fans that there will be NO further rebrand..... Keep an eye out on the seat colours and Asian stadium sponsor over the next few seasons then tell me BU are a bad idea.
The rebrand is just going to get stronger until there is nothing else to turn Asian or red.

I have 2 mates who work in CCS and BOTH have confirmed to me that they aren't allowed to work with the old badge... One works in Hospitality and the other in Advertising... Out of the way of fans/public.... Yet Tan is putting an end to the traditional crest.

I spoke to this 14 year old kit who is playing for the Academy with my cousin and he told me that they aren't even allowed to wear blue undershirts ffs. I can't understand why some fans are allowing this to happen.

It was damaged goods before it had even started. Nothing done professionally at all. They must have a different level of professionalism because honestly the website looked like it was done by a 4 year old, the logo on the forum is hilarious to look at, the Facebook page has been full of abuse and it's been mentioned numerous times on the forums and Twitter and so on.

Steve Borley doesn't even take them seriously so the notion that Tan cares enough is laughable. He said its disappointing that a minority are speaking out against the rebrand but its just that, disappointing. I think myself its disappointing some fans don't feel the same way but each to their own, it doesn't mean im going to kick up a fuss on their behalf when I dont feel the same way.

As far as im concerned, football as we knew it died years and years ago. It's time people moved on.

Re: Branson in a pickle?

Tue Jul 23, 2013 11:39 am

Everyone will be disappointed that people don't agree with them... I feel its disappointing that more Cardiff fans didn't care for the blue identity and traditions of Cardiff City.

What Sian did was wrong, but to claim that the group is damaged is just ridiculous & designed to try and run the group down.

Although, I do agree with James. Moderation of fans comments needs to be improved, I've said this myself on their page in the past.

Re: Branson in a pickle?

Bakerbuebird, may I ask what is wrong with an Asian sponsor,if any sponsor is prepared to be the highest bidder of the stadium,be it Asian,Arab,American or British, then whats wrong with that,Bu now think an Asian sponsor is off limits do they, seems like another cock up to me,sponsors these days are multi national, thats the way of Modern football I guess.

Yes, as I've said, their moderation actions need to be improved, but it's a voluntary group, not like someone can sit on it 24/7 and remove immediately.

I'd personally prefer not to have an Asian sponsor. Feels like we are losing our heritage to me, Malaysia all over the kit and stadium, dancing Chinese dragons for Chinese New Year, nothing for St David's day..

That's my personal thoughts anyway.

My points and reasoning too Chuckles!! :notworthy:

Those "Dragons" look like multi-coloured horses. If we are sponsored by Tesco this season then hopefully those horses won't make it on the pitch!
4 Malaysian flags, Chinese new year, Chinese red kit, Malaysian owner, Malaysian shirt sponsor.

The funny thing is there were many on the BU website moaning the other week about the Canton being sponsored by the Welsh tourist board because the adds were coloured red,for gods sake that is the colour of Wales. It appears to me there is no reasoning any more to blue/red debate,it just seems whatever CCFC do now is always wrong to some.

Re: Branson in a pickle?

All I'm interested in is us playing in blue again - what continent our sponsors, backers, and pre match and half time entertainment comes from doesn't bother me in the slightest. The people with serious money in South Wales would gladly have seen us go to the wall as far as I can make out.
