2 million for a 12 month deal.. how much is Malaysia sponsoring CCFC for?
Yep.. expansion to ground and planning has been approved.. too much happening this season with euro games to have the stadium out of commission this summer..

You do things your way, and we will do them our way, why would swansea want to go and borrow money from the bank to fund the extension, no thanks, no swans fan would be happy about that. You live in a dream world fair play, ive never heard so much sh*te in all my life not one shread of evidence to back up what you have said. :laughing6:[/quote]

You are about 15 yes?

The cost of the required work is around £18m (am i right) to get the ground up to 30,000. in a nutshell, nobody has put their hand up and said "we'll pay"... that means nobody wants to (agreed?)... But Swansea cannot afford to keep Laudrup, buy the players he wants AND fund the rebuild. thats just simple maths. The ironic bit is.... because the ground is so small it sends out the message ''small club''.... smallest in the Premiership... and it puts investors off!!...add geography into the equation and its a tough one... do you understand? you cant really afford to pay for the restructuring yourselves and nobody else is coming forward. Are you there yet? has a light come on?

 what type of evidence are you looking for? For a start your figure of 15-20 million is wild, it has a misleading 5 million discrepancy. it cost £27 million to build the whole thing. Huw said it will cost £15million for all. not to mention it is being done in 3,500 stages and not in one go.

Swansea as a club have made £30.5 million clear profit since entering the premier league which of course doesn't include the extra £25 million in revenue we are getting in the coming season on top of regular profits. this includes all player expenditure.

I think common sense is all the evidence you need that funding is there...

Nobody said you havent got money you cretin. Are you special needs? What has been made crystal is: third season into the Premiership. Extra seating should have been the Numero Uno priority to increase revenue. Still no sign of it. YOU said for us to hold our breath cos a big new backer is coming in? Still no sign. I think the truth is that there are not as many people on this ''season ticket waiting list'' as Jenkins has made out, and that the true figure for a Swansea City Premiership crowd would be no more than around 23,000. That is NOT going to sustain the Club long term. Thats why Jenkins dont want to waste money on empty seats

I read a link the other day from the liberty stadium planned expansion document and it it stated there the are 8000 on the swansea season ticket waiting list, not my words or huw jenkins words but the words from an offical planning permission document, it's there for all to see on the net. And extra seating is not priority ,first is the team next training grounds as swansea did not have one, they now have two. Next will be the stadium i now it hurts you to see swansea doing so well on and off the field. :laughing6:

I couldn't tell you the value as i'm not into property development. The land was sold by the club for a pittance in late 80s to the council so that they could build the athletics stadium in the hope of attracting commonwealth games. The fact that the council paid a pittance enabled us to buy it back at a preferential rate. The club paid for road improvements amounting to hundreds of thousands of pounds so that retail park could be built which benefits local community.

How much has your cva shafting club paid towards the build of the liberty stadium and the related infrastructure? I doubt you even paid 5p in the pound towards it. ;)

ps answer my question-would your creditor shafting club be in premier league had you not screwed creditors and would you have taken the points deduction if cva meant losing 10 points.

You gave up the lease to the vetch. How selfless. That land must be worth all of 25p given its prime location next to the nick.

Amazing how you know so much about my clubs finances.

Football trust grants-that's a grant from a 3rd party-not money from your club. How much has the CVA shafters paid towards the stadium? Not a difficult question even for a toothless simpleton like you

In your own time Gareth :thumbright:

I couldn't tell you the value as i'm not into property development. The land was sold by the club for a pittance in late 80s to the council so that they could build the athletics stadium in the hope of attracting commonwealth games. The fact that the council paid a pittance enabled us to buy it back at a preferential rate. Bollocks :thumbright: Just one small section of the land you were gifted by the council was sold a couple of years later by the club for over a Million to stave off the taxman. The club paid for road improvements amounting to hundreds of thousands of pounds so that retail park could be built which benefits local community.

How much has your cva shafting club paid towards the build of the liberty stadium and the related infrastructure? I doubt you even paid 5p in the pound towards it. ;) We gave up the lease to the vetch and acquired several million pounds in football trust grants

ps answer my question-would your creditor shafting club be in premier league had you not screwed creditors and would you have taken the points deduction if cva meant losing 10 points.

I've already answered it viewtopic.php?f=2&t=115926&start=90#p1174705

You gave up the lease to the vetch. How selfless. That land must be worth all of 25p given its prime location next to the nick.

Amazing how you know so much about my clubs finances.

Football trust grants-that's a grant from a 3rd party-not money from your club. How much has the CVA shafters paid towards the stadium? Not a difficult question even for a toothless simpleton like you

As the old saying goes, you know you've lost the argument when you have to resort to abuse. Commiserations Gareth :thumbright:

Yes, truly amazing that I am aware of information available in the public domain

Seeing as we don't actually own the stadium, why would we put any money directly into its build? :?

You still seem to be swerving the issue of Cardiff Council gifting land to the your club which was then sold shortly afterwards to pay the taxman. If that isn't local government assistance I don't know what is. In case you're confused, here's the link. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/footbal ... 531645.stm

What was the actual going rate for the land at the time you purchased it because it certainly wasn't £50k.

Not lost the argument. Answer my questions properly please. How much have the cva 5p in the £ shafters paid towards the stadium from their own pockets?
