The reports were before the £15 million signing of Andy Carroll, they play with one up front and I don't think they'll be getting Carroll and Lukaku.
We should be able to beat a side like West Ham for Lukaku, as a side that finished about them last season, will be playing in Europe next season and have a coach with the influence of Laudrup rather than a coach with the influence of Sam Allardyce.
Get it into your dull head why the f**k would lukaku want to move to a shit hole like Swansea town, your playing in a Micky mouse European cup and he probably dont give a f**k about who the manager is when he is living in a shit hole like Swansea

If it's a good enough of a place to live for Michael Laudrup, then it's a good enough of a place to live for Romelu Lukaku.
I like how because you've got no argument about us on the pitch, you have to just resort to calling Swansea a shithole and then have the nerve to call me dull at the start of a post like that.

I don't know. I don't really care that much either. All I do know is that all Jacks seem to think it's a done deal & all the latest noises coming out are going against that view point.

We aren't on a level playing field either, we're in the same division yes, but there's a huge difference between the bottom and the top of the Premier League. We're a much stronger side, that will be playing in Europe next season and are a much stronger side than the newly promoted sides. Our realistic transfer targets are the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alberto Botia and Jose Canas. Your realistic transfer targets are the likes of Leon Barnett, Jamie Mackie and Carlton Cole.

you aren't top of the premier league by any margin?! Do you really believe that? Get your head out of the clouds!
You Jacks really are something - trying to claim that you're at the top.![]()
Newcastle finished 5th (much higher than you) 2 seasons ago & plummeted last season. Wake up!![]()
Jamie Mackie won't happen, Leon Barnett & Carlton Cole will be good additions if they are picked up & I like the fact that you've plumped for the smallest "names" we've been linked with & the biggest "names" you've been linked with.
You've been in the prem 2 seasons & your arrogance is incredible! I'd love to see you fall from grace like Newcastle did.![]()

They've got some quality in their squad, I don't see you having any players of the ability of Yohann Cabaye, Hatem Ben Arfa and Tim Krul.
Getting to the QF's was the highlight of their season, the games were well attended and the Benfica matches were probably the biggest of their season.
As I've said, although you do love to ignore the positive points about the Europa League and just go on about Newcastle, look who we sign in the summer because of the Europa League.
Ask Reading fans what they thought of the Premier League.

I didn't say that we were at the top of the Premier League, I said that there is a big difference between the top and the bottom of the Premier League unlike in the Championship. Hence, there's a bigger difference between 8th and 20th in the division.
They are the most realistic signings for you, you've branded about loads of players on here like Buckley, Phillips, Ramsey, Vermaelen, Hangeland, Arshavin and all sorts of players you won't get, but these three have the most substance to them.
I haven't named the biggest names we've been linked with, I've left out Romelu Lukaku and Iago Aspas.
I'm not arrogant, whether you like it or not we've finished 11th and 9th in the Premier League, and whilst you might not like that I am in a position to gloat about our quality I am. You'll bring up Newcastle, for a start Newcastle are still in a far better position than you are. I could bring up QPR and Reading. Mind the gap.

How do YOU know what are realistic signings for us ?
Or for Swansea come to that ?
As of April 16th we are in the same league, on a level playing field.
Some players will favour going to you for your manager, the fact you are in the Europa and have done reasonably well..
Some players would prefer to play for our manager, in a bigger stadium, in front of bigger crowds, and in a bigger better City.
I would however expect you to have a bigger budget, especially with you likely to sell some players and having had 2 seasons of profitable premiership football, but given the promised additional investment it may not be that much bigger.
2 seasons at the top and you think you are Man Utd.

Not many other highlights in their season, because of the problems that the Europa League causes.. I'm delighted you're in it.
