Quick question st Mellon. I recall Blackpool being fined for fielding a substationally weakened side against Aston villa back in 2011. Do you think Swansea should be fined for fielding a 'second string' side in the premier league.

Here's the link for that Blackpool game
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/footbal ... 378679.stm

I believe they should be fined personally for not fielding a competitive lineup and resting certain starting eleven players

Wolves were also fined for doing similar against united.

Personally I think it's nonsense, the manager should be able to pick whom he wishes.

But in terms if whats happened to other clubs and if there has been no verbal or legislative change to anything since then... Then yes swansea should be fined.

Glad you agree, the competition should be taken seriously regardless of upcoming fixtures. Bradford played a full strength side yesterday and lost. Just have to wait and see whether they are fined. I bet Bradford won't be happy mind with the lineup laudrup send out mind.

Great prediction of his

Closer than most of the verbal diarrhoea he/she/it spouts

:laughing6: :laughing6: :laughing6:

I predicted a 2-0 defeat.

Didnt account for the 2 penalties. So not a bad guess.

Mmmm isnt penalties still a goal? so didnt lose 3-0 plus 2pens it was 5-0 simples!

Not saying any different.

I'm not sure why everyone is going Mad because I predicted they would lose 2-0

AWwww gutted can't believe I didn't guess the exact score right. How dare I not :D

no you implied that your guess would have been close but for two pens? mmm almost as good as your grasp of investment!!

It was close, it was an away defeat scoring no goals.

As for my grasp of investment. Is this the thread where you were trying to convince me it was a good idea to buy something for £89 when you can buy it for £10?

You are also one of my faves. I love the way how you bumble your way into a thread, completely not understand it, say your piece, usually incoherent nonsense then realise what you've typed and then write " end of convo" and disappear as quickly as you came :D[/quote

end of conversation is when its no point in continuing as don't like going round in circles! so you wont pay £89 for some thing that is worth only £10, but which will increase value over time to £1k? mmm

I don't see how anyone can see that as ridiculous.

In the league the biggest realistic prize on offer is the Europa league. Swansea can secure that in one match next Sunday against league 2 opposition. Why would they concentrate on the harder most unlikely route that consists of 11 matches against premier league opposition.

If they can win next week they are as good as finished 5th in the Prem.

It's alright Mellon, you'll have a proper squad to watch up there next season.

Agreed. There's rumours of Aspas signing so him and Michu up front should be a great partnership.

Asapas maybe but I can't see Malky going after Michu.

Your point makes no sense.

Tan can acquire the rest of the shares fir around £15m. You are telling me he is going to over pay by £80m for no reason.

This was a shares to equity debate that you clearly cannot grasp.

I was very surprised, Liverpool are a very poor team.

Why you resting players for a cup no one is interested in? (According to the Swansea posters on here )
