Clearly your crusade against him has blurred your judgement.
No he isn't very good and yes we need better but I find it hard to believe anyone who watched the game would think he didn't make a positive impact today.

While, at the same time, we've got really good footballers like Kimbo and Mason sitting on the bench.

In reality Rudy has a role to play within the squad and that role involves coming on when we are chasing a game, like Ipswich and Charlton away, because his height and physical presence give our opponents different problems to deal with.
Rudy has 3 assists and 1 goal from only 231 minutes on the pitch so he does make a contribution and in my opinion every team needs players like him.
Should he start games, No, but until we get a replacement for Maynard he deserves his place on the bench. The bigger question in my opinion is why Joe Mason did n't get on the pitch today because his record over the last two seasons for accuracy of shooting is unbelieveable. Last season 74% of his shots at goal were on target and this season it is 79%.
Today Helguson missed a couple of absolute sitters and stats tell us Joe Mason would of hit the target![]()
Rather than Mutch I believe Joe Mason should have come on and that's something MM needs to think long and hard about. In his post match interview he talks about not being clinical enough.
Joe Mason is clinical and should have played at least some part today.

I didn't see the point in the kev sub tbh, yes he was poor but I don't think having Gunnar come on offered us anything to change a 2-0 deficit.
Brining on Mason earlier and then Rudy a bit later I reckon would hav had more of an impact.

Mcnaughts was injured. To be honest felt Taylor was worse than him all game

MM said it was tactical, no injuries.

Rudy will come good just like Helguson did. I believe in the players and thankfully we have a manager who does as well.
