Looking at this forum over the last few months has made me sick. All we bang on about are the f*cking Jacks and it's a shame to say it but we are certainly more obsessed than them. We sing anti Swansea songs for crying our loud. Back in my day the only time we'd talk about the Jacks was when we were battering f**k out of them. Bristol City are our main rivals and always will be, this Jack bullshit has come about in the last 15 years.

And yes we are obsessed, far too many threads about the jacks on here. If they lose a game, the threads get started by cardiff fans laughing for some reason. then if they win the threads get started by swansea fans.

I consider the wurzels as our main rival, the swansea thing has only re-surfaced lately due to their success, we were always leagues above them and played the wurzels far more

I don't like Bristol but it's a shame that the Severnside Derby has collapsed, the attendances for our games against them are exactly the same for any other game and we celebrate victories over them like we do against anyone else. I hate Leeds purely because of their arrogance, they think they're better than everyone. They only consider MUFC as their rivals, probably because of jealousy.

I think Newport have the potential to become our main rivals, it would be good to play them in the League Cup next season if they get promoted.

Going back to the 1960's/70's you are correct. Jacks not on the radar until they came up the leagues and when Toshack came on board. Then they slipped and whilst I didn't wish it at the time - for the good of Welsh football - I now wish they had gone out of business. Personally I still enjoy CCFC doing over the Bristol clubs as much as doing over the jacks when we get the chance but I can see why the younger generation just focus on the jacks. As of now bristol are our biggest rivals as they are in the same league and we have a big game with them in February.Lets all be up for that one. They will be. Jacks, well wait and see. Perhaps next season.

Since the late 70's, and Rovers was our rivals then,bcfc was off the radar.
