Make the most of it, in the real world you pay taxes and NI get 4 weeks off a year, maybe 5 if your lucky. and by the time you retire there wont be any pensions as you will be dead as you'll be expected to work until your at least 105!!!

If I get a £30,000 job which is possible as I've already been offered £26k positions before graduation but want to get my degree to have something to fall back on.

I will pay back £2700 per year. Hardly a massive amount if Im earning £30k in the first instance. I will just do freelance work to make up the difference as well.

£51 per week out of a ~£576 per week wage. Then obviously you have tax and NI to come out of that. More than enough to live on.

As a student myself I will have to disagree with you.
No work to do! What course are you on? I've got another 2 weeks left (plus 2 weeks after Christmas) with tons of work to do before the semester finishes in January.
How do you have so much money? Lots from student finance? Believe me we will have to pay it all back, and most students aren't as lucky as you. Yes we go out and drink, but my loan doesn't cover my living costs, so I have to work most days as well as do uni work.
No work to do over Christmas? Again you must be on a weird course to have done all your work already, especially seeing as lectures haven't finished yet.
Free money? Unless you're getting it of your parents or you are lucky enough to get a grant it ain't free

My mate learned that the hard way. Didnt pay and got a MASSIVE fine.

Even watching TV online requires you to have a TV license.
