craig conway,s gambling

Thu Nov 22, 2012 12:57 pm

his gambling is in the passed....he has it all sorted(unlike chopra) he hasnt gambled for a long time now ....he had to tell malky before the cup final as the players were expected to attend a casino night and obviously this was inopropriote for him ....think malky was pissed off as his famous dossiers let him down and did not uncover this info on craig...i think telling malky shows the character of the player ....since then him and malky just havnt got on ...hes only played when malky has had no other options in my oppinion :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Steve, Conways gambling without a doubt is well in the past, before he signed for Cardiff. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
My personal opinion, as everyone knows I am a big fan of Malky's but ever since before the Cup Final Malky has had it in for Conway, just my strong opinion.
Conway was honest to Malky about his past when he refused to get involved in the Casino etc before the Cup Final. Why should he have told Malky about his past before then.
You have a pm. :ayatollah:

Maybe Malky did ask him??? maybe he lied???

Could be any number of reasons

no he wasnt asked ....becouse it was well and trully over before he signed for us ....the only reason it came up was becouse HE CRAIG CONWAY told malky :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Re: Craig Conway wants out?
by troobloo3339 ยป Thu Nov 22, 2012 12:31 pm

it all goes back to the cup final ...malky organised a casino night for all the players ....conway had to tell malky that he had a PREVIUOSE gambling problem and it would be better if he gave the casino a miss ....malky did not like finding out about his previous problem ...and from then on there relationship has not been good to say the least (so much so for the famous dossiers ) imo conway would make a very good left back ,,and in our current situation would of been an adequate replacement for the injured taylor,, also if noone gets injured who would we have to replace him ...dont go along with if conway goes malky would just get someone better as its not that easy ...look how we are struggling to get defenders in at the moment .....imo the big thing to come out of this is does malky have the experience and know how to keep a squad of players happy not just the first eleven and his favourites

How do you know this, were you at the interview before we signed him as I'm sure he was asked plenty of questions.......

If its not a problem, what is Malky's problem? I don't get it..

Re: craig conway,s gambling

Thu Nov 22, 2012 1:26 pm

well now it was him who told malky ...shows the character and honesty of the player....so why would you question wether he lied what do you know ...i speak to craig regularly and now people in contact with him and his familly ....how do you think he has his previous problem under control ...let me tell you ...with help from his familly and friends and his determination thats how :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

You can't blame Craig for wanting to leave.

because its plausible that he did initally...i didnt say he did, just as i didnt say he didnt...i said there could be any number of things......obviously you think hes been mistreated as hes a friend of yours, try to think objectively

sorry craig ccfc you have a weird way of thinking ..where have i said we are friends ..why do you ask me to look at the situation in a different way ...im trying to give information to board members of this site with out breaking confidences ...you obviously have your oppinion which i respect ...however everything i have posted on this subject is totally true ....people have been suggesting that craig conway is another chopra which i have to respond to ...this kind of chitter chatter is no good for craig or his familly ...i put out this thread to try to inform people of the truth and to stop idle unfounded gossip :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I don't know Acraig aconway, and I feel he has been treated harshly.

If he is being singled out because of a problem that happened BEFORE he came to Cardiff - and one that he admitted, then it's harsh.

Re: craig conway,s gambling

I think its quite obvious that if Conway saw our current home kit he would start throwing money everywhere thinking he was playing roulette.

craig ccfc you just make things up to suit yourself ....where did i say i speak with his familly ....i actually said i know people who speak with his familly ...now lets pretend i speak to craig on a profesional basis ..ie i could be his agent , i could be his financial adviser , i could be his hairdresser , icould be his gofer ,...none of those would require me to be his friend now would they ...stick to facts that you know are true like i do ...or dont make stupid assumptions :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I will say this now Craig Conway is a true professional, gives 100% in training and on the pitch. Away from football he stays shall we say as far away from the Chops etc life, he was young once and had a gambling habit, over 6 years ago and has never been back in one since. Malky in my opinion is wrong on this one.

I know we are publically discussing the personnel life of another person which obviously is not the best thing to do. But I do like to read up these kind of stories because it does help address so many of our questions.
I have been wondering for a while why CC does not get game time.
Cheers troobloo

why do people have to be into conspiracys and want to know the personal lives of each and every player
Lets trust our managers judgement :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

your wellcome i only put this up becouse earlier today it looked like it might get of hand people implying conway was another chops and still had a problem which he clearly does not...his only problrm now seems to be malky ....now that frei has gone back lets hope mm has a rethink over craig and can convince him he has a future here at ccfc :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I bet he dont........it would be a gamble now anyway......its the luck of the draw....the roll of the dice.....he should chance his arm and stay......if we get promoted he could hit the jackpot..... :?

Is it worth taking a risk though? Malky has less to lose selling him and using the other wealth of talent he has than using him and then his performances drop which affects the team because he's doing something off the pitch that he shouldn't be. With promotion the aim this year I think Malky is right. We cannot afford any risks.
