Has Jerome signed for them?
I've seen they've inquired about him but they haven't completed the signing.
Nothing to stop us going for him.

I thought I'd seen somewhere that they had sealed a loan deal for him... after searching around I guess not!

NJ, Tan has gone well past that, in fact to the point of no return, we now need promotion, no matter what.

What if you don't get promotion?

Like I say, I really do fear for our club, its all or nothing in my strong opinion.Tan has gone to far.

I tend to agree.
I also think those who say he is in too deep to pull the plug are kidding themselves. A smart businessman knows when to cut his losses rather than to go chasing them.
To be honest, everything he is doing is completely mystifying. There is no golden goose in the Premier League really. At least not unless a club is prepared to keep costs down as much as possible and try and remain competitive, which most don't.

I disagree Jinks, we are too light defensively and we definitely need the striker (target man).
Many points can be won or lost between now and January and that could be the difference between automatic promotion or not, a game lost instead of drawn, a game drawn instead of won.
We have gone an extremely long way to building a squad to challenge at the top of this league but it is no cake walk and we must give ourselves every possibility to succeed.

To be fair NJ, I find it difficult to accept that a man who will have put in a possible £70-80million walking away, he is rich but to walk away from a tenth of your fortune would be madness surely ?
As you say it is mystifying and I agree but tend to think that China is where his market is.

NJ, Very smart and he will cut his loses at some stage and then try to get them back by stripping our club of its assets, but thats if we fail to win promotion.
