The new update has made it much more interesting. Loads of new stuff in the normal mode and a new creative mode that was only on PC before the update

Re: Minecraft

I certainly do! Used to play the hell out of it (12 hours straight when I first got it during the alpha!) but as the game has moved beyond the capabilities of my computer, it crashes on me way too often, hence why I rarely play it anymore. Plus, I feel that it was lost some of it charms since the 1.7 patch in the Beta. But still, going to Minecon in Paris next month, got a foam Stone Pickaxe sitting on my coffee table and I made my own skin. With my little (iron) pick and shovel, I'll be there!

My old flatmate from Uni runs a Minecraft centric youtube channel with his mate and are shortly about to hit 30,000 subscribers, so pop over to Xerain Gaming at http://www.youtube.com/user/xeraingamin ... sults_main , subscribe and tell Andre and Danny that I sent you.

Re: Minecraft

It might seem to be simple on the graphics, but there is some serious programming behind it. And considering it started out being made by a single guy in Sweden, it has remain completely independent and the PC version has sales of over 7.5 million, making it the 9th most successful PC game of all...not even WoW can match that. And it of it was done on the internet without paid advertising, it was all done by word of mouth. It is a gaming phenomenon.

World of warcraft are having 12+ million paying subscribers every month, minecraft looks like a game with grafix from the 90s abit like CCMB forum layout , but then again ive not played it so maybe im wrong :ayatollah:

Graphics makes it unique. If you play on the PC you can download skins and texture packs to make things look more realistic or just crazier. I always kept the original texture pack though :ayatollah:
