Bale has always been class for Wales, I could never understand why spurs and especially Redknapp wouldn't use him.

Couldn't disagree more, he never played him for months despite him playing amazingly for Wales. Only used him when forced to when Ekotto went to African cup of nations. Before that he was being linked with forest because he wasn't wanted.

Oh turn the page ffs.
He didnt fancy him as a young left back, gave him a go further forward and turned him into a world class winger.

Gave him the confidence and freedom further forward hence turning him into the player he is today.

Yes he should have been 1st name on the teamsheet for Spurs cos he was AMAZING (in best camp voice) for a Wales team that won 1 game in about 3 years

So your convenientally forgetting his poor form for Spurs before he got his second chance then.2blue2handle wrote:Mario Polotelli wrote:Valley Lad wrote:Didn't Bale go something like 20/30 appearances for Spurs without a win?

Well his performances for Wales were showing he was capable irrespective of results, it was obvious he was good enough and as soon as he was played he proved that.
