Let's hope he gets some jail time, and while he's in there some con gives him a permanent reminder across his face with a prison issue razor.

Yes because that's going to solve everything isn't it? Lets just hope when he comes out he thinks before posting or saying such things in the public domain. Violence is not the answer. If anything him being attacked will probably just make the situation worse.

If he was a rapist, a murderer, a child abductor or a paedophile then fair enough I would wish hell upon him but he has not done any of that. Whilst his comments were obviously wrong and offensive he doesn't deserve to suffer a violent attack.

People can't handle the Internet/free speech.

I hardly think "freedom of speech" comes into it when some sicko is making sexually explicit jokes about a dead 5 year old girl you sick noncing Kunt.

Who said that?

Stop being so emotional on the Internet. Time for you to find a hobby/job.

i didnt say they did, they fall under the same malicious communications act though. Jail for making jokes is too much, no matter how sick they are

The guy is a hypocrite.

Re: SICK B*STARD

If anything abuse on the internet is not offensive, just tedious. When it happens its easy to laugh off but the most annoying thing is seeing it repeatedly. The odd few comments are fine IMO, it should only be classified as malicious if it is continuously happening. I don't get offended at all by anything. I find things annoying though.

This guy should just be given a slap on the wrist, a week in a cell and then told to buck up his ideas or face a longer stretch if it happens again. No doubt him being in prison will see the court release someone of a serious conviction with the old nonsense 'our prisons are full'.

I bet the 50 who "mobbed up" havent got anything better to do like go to work for example, their kids are probably going to grow up as ignorant as the idiot who posted the messages. f**k me if we are jailing people for being offensive behind a keyboard this countries got no hope

We already have. that lad who took the piss out of Muamba got prison so this kunt should get a dose aswell! The precedence has been set! You can't jail one just because it was aimed at a black footballer and not this kunt now. Of course they shouldn't be given prison, a fukin slap would suffice but, like I said! That muamba lad got prison, others have got prison for posting shit on the internet, so this kunt now should get a few weeks of prison bullying lol its only fair. Offencive tweets facebook walls etc etc, its all a load of shit, but if you jail one then you have set the tone and you gota jail them all lol

Re: SICK B*STARD

I actually find it ridiculous that people can now be jailed for saying something offensive. Next person that calls me a kunt, knobhead, tw*t or anything I'm going straight to the police  because CLEARLY that's what police should be using their time doing and not catching all these Mark Bridgers out there

Re: SICK B*STARD

Mon Oct 08, 2012 5:07 pm

Fair enough but build more prisons then. Don't lock up people for things like this then when a serious offender gets released early or has a lenient sentence spin the old 'our prisons our full' line. Its a load of nonsense. Judicial system hasn't a clue in this country and all these rights etc are stupid. Where did common sense go?

Exactly. Offence is subjective anyway. People just need to grow the hell up and stop living sheltered lives.

How can "abuse" not be offensive!! And definitely far from tedious. Abuse doesnt differ in terms of how its made, sexual assault, violation, rape, etc etc.

Freedom of speech was meant to protect the rights of people, not for people to bully, or to be malicious.

Internet trolls, who prey on people whose lives have been shattered by tragedy are fair game for legal recourse in my mind.

Prison time maybe a stretch, though

As someone with a disability, if you called me a spacker or cripple I wouldn't care as offence is subjective whereas someone else might care. I would be more annoyed if you repeatedly called me it. Not because of the offence but because hearing a word repeated is annoying.

Someone verbally abusing a person with a dissability is ignorant. People who troll at the expense of a family who has lost their daughter is a completley different thing. Do you have kids?

Freedom of speech is a right in itself.

That cannot be allowed to be abused. Rights are given to protect not to be abused.

Called in a bomb threat lately?

Rights are not "given" either. That would be a massive contradiction, a right is what we as people are entitled to.

They are given, like it or not. You can be denied any right at any time. Reality and Idealism are different things.

No and even if I did I would still ignore an ignorant person who had no influence or knowledge of my life. Ignore them rather than give them the attention they crave.
