Should have gone with Noone and Kim on the wings, pushed Bellars up front.
With this squad Cowie shd be nowhere near the starting 11.

Thats a very unfair statement.
People need to realise, Cowie was playing out of position last season.
With Bellamy and Smith on the wing; and Cowie playing in the Centre I think we'll do well.
Lets just back the starting XI, and not criticise our players......win, draw or lose today, its a long season ahead.
Glad to see Malky rotating the squad, something which he was unable to do last season. This could be a good sign.
cowie in the middle is a gd move hes a gd hard working player who will be there to cover smith wen hes going forward to stop zaha counter attacking us same with gunnar on the otherside wen bellers is bombing on, helgurson up top is guna be a vital 2day can see it being a very physical game up 2day so he fits the bill perfectly with the size on their center backs, plenty of confidence in the team selection nice sold team with plenty of options goin forward & on the bench if we need 2 change it another 2-0 win

Malky will aim to keep it tight in the first half and Cowie will cover alot of ground (i.e double up on Zaha when he has the ball), if and when the game opens up players like Kim and Noone will come on and have more of an impact.
People moaned last year when we couldn't rotate the squad, now they're moaning becasue we are. Cowie may not be the most technically gifted but he'll work and he has an eye for a pass. His game is more suited for the central role, so give the guy a chance before your jump on his back!
How about you back the team for once instead of looking for negatives all the time.
Rant over.
C'mon City!!!!!
