of our identity. Even if you dont speak it, your grandparents or their grandparents will

Stop picking on the minutiae of my post and answer the real questions here. I agree I should not have said the language is dying, I understand that that is not strictly true. You seem hell bent on turning this into a discussion about the intricities of the Welsh language. Shame.

As horrible and offensive as it may come across, I believe the Welsh language is a waste of time. Would have preferred it if my school had given me the option to learn German, Japanese or Mandarin instead.

Sad that the scots, Irish, English are all proud of their heritage.

Yet some Welsh people seem somehow a bit ashamed of theirs.

Without the language we would be part of England now. Thats

Moved to Wales from London and learnt Welsh from scratch in school, one of the most rewarding things I've done. Personally anyway.
